We're all technology oriented here, and from looking at the Windows XP thread, it appears that some of you are quite technology savvy and good with it, maybe even experts. So I think it'd be a cool discussion to have here.

I like Chrome. I used to go for Firefox, but I've been finding Chrome runs faster, so I've been using it more. What about you guys?

Chrome. I used to use IE, but it was really slow and had a bunch of problems all the time. Chrome is so much cleaner looking and faster.

The only thing wrong with Chrome is I can't watch videos on Packers.com. I have to use IE for that. It sucks I know. Especially since there's no AdBlock there. Ahh, AdBlock... saving me so much time on everything.

I still use Firefox because I like the add-on features and being able to tweak it the way I want.

I still have to use IE at work for a couple of sites I need in order for them to operate correctly....

I got a bad taste of Chrome when it first came out and haven't given it a second chance.

Chrome, but I must say I've been impressed with IE 10 running in Windows 8 (been playing with it at work doing compatibility testing for a massive client systems upgrade).

Once you get used to the UI changes, 8 is really a great OS.

@unkadung - Chrome was really buggy when it was first released, but they've worked most of it out now. The only recurring issue I sometimes come across (which is annoying) is when the Flash plugin crashes...

I took the garbage known as IE off my computer. My old Windows 7 used to crash if I ran IE. When I got my new one, I used it long enough to download Firefox before disabling it. I have to use it at school. For some reason, it doesn't load the sites completely. But then Firefox is more susceptible to the filters.

I waited on Chrome. Before I got rid of IE, I had it and Firefox on there. Then Chrome came out. I didn't download it due to a current hatred of Google. Then about a year later, my views changed. I was suddenly using Gmail and Picassa. That, and my dad would use my laptop on vacation and he'd turn on Internet Explorer even though I told him it was for emergencies only. Did he listen? No. It crashed. When I was running diagnostics, I turned the screen to him and said, "See what you did?" Then I disabled IE, but still felt like a backup browser was a good idea. So I got Chrome. I gave it a test run, but still preferred Firefox. Then I got my Windows 8 computer. You have the option of running Chrome in an app mode which gives you a full screen and runs very quickly. I usually just use the desktop mode because it's easier, but I like the app mode. That, and it's vastly improved since it came out. Now it's my browser of choice. Especially since I was trying to upload photos a few minutes ago and Firefox wouldn't do it but Chrome would. I also like saving my passwords (not all of them, but the one I used to check my grades I care not about) and browsing history from my laptop to my iPod Touch.

No offense, but I hate Macs. Just don't like the overall feel. I know some who will fight me to the death otherwise, though. Okay, that might be extreme... you get the idea!

Go PC! :p
I agree there. I don't understand Macs. At all. I'm a PC and Windows 8 was my idea.

Having been an iPod Touch owner and an occasional iPad borrower, I find Safari to be a step up from IE. Both of these devices now use Chrome.

I'm getting tired of my iPod Touch. It's so slow with the internet, and the only thing I use it for is music in the car. Again, I just don't like the layout on Apple products. Just boring overall, IMO.

Try downloading Chrome and see if it becomes faster. I prefer my laptop too, but it's great for at school when either 1. I don't have immediate access to a computer or 2. I'm in the library and all the "real" computers are gone and they're using the ones that are tethered together. Or 3. when my journalism computer has crashed, which has happened multiple times. Just in case, I also have an Android with Firefox on it.

I rarely use my iPod anymore anyway. Since I got a smartphone last year, I've used that for mobile internet. So much quicker, plus I don't need a wifi connection for it.

My phone only has data on it when I'm on vacation and need it, so I still use Wifi for it. I'm able to see the merits of both iOS and Android. Disney favors iOS with their apps, and there are games I can only get for my iPod. My Android also has features my iPod touch doesn't (and the iPhones don't). For instance, it reads me texts while I'm driving. This is helpful for my mother trying to reach me. It also runs Wikipedia more smoothly. For My Disney Experience, I found myself using the iPod Touch more than the Android. But then I find it ridiculous that there are apps that cost 99 cents on iOS and then are free on Android. I enjoy having both.

I do. That's an understatement. I have so many apps that they're organized into menus. A ton of games (I easily get bored), some ones for school, some random ones that I got when I though, "I wonder if there's an app for that..." I also have apps for watching stuff when I'm bored, a dictionary, a Spanish dictionary, sports, a metronome, Disney ones...and those talking friends ones. You know, you say something and the character says it back? Ridiculous I know, but funny.
