Your Favourite Ropedrop Breakfast!

Our breakfasts usually end up being character meals...it's a really good way to lure the kids out of bed bright and early. While 1900PF breakfast is our fave of the breakfasts, I can't include it here since their first seating is at 8am and I don't think we'd ever make it to a rope drop with that. So, Crystal Palace, CRT, and Chef Mickey's are my top choices.

We either grab a mug of hot chocolate on our way to the bus stop and grab a snack inside the park or we make a breakfast ADR for before park opening.

My picks are:

Magic Kingdom:

ADR for 8:05 at Crystal Palace - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to be inside MK with almost no one else there. Love the breakfast pizza there.

Sleepy Hollow - we usually start with Adventureland so I send my mom on her way to BTMRR while I get a Waffle Sandwich for us to share.

Animal Kingdom:

ADR for 8:05 at Tusker House - I have to pace myself here because the food is soooo good! I pay as soon as I sit so I can leave whenever I want. Plus it's like 20 feet away from the Safari so you're always on the first ride of the day.

Kusafari Coffee Shop - they have the butter croissant I love so much, I stop there to buy a couple of those grab my Safari FP and head on to Everest.

Hollywood Studios:

Starring Rolls: butter croissant, hot chocolate and a fruit cup. OK, sometime a cupcake. Or two.

EPCOT:

We tried Sunshine Season this year and hated it. The breakfast panini was stale and flavorless.

Cape May Cafe - Not inside EPCOT, but I was able to score a 7:30am ADR, have fun with the characters and we're on our way through International Gateway around 8:40am.

I suck at rope drop! We've only done it a handful of times in all our trips. When we do, it's usually only to watch the opening show and quickly hit a ride or two. Then we'll leave and go have a quiet table service breakfast at an adjacent resort while we finish waking up.

Good Morning Early Birds..Now we normally have breakfast in our food court. ( riverside ) But if we are heading for a Ropedrop,we tend to grab something at the park itself..Our favourite ones are SS for Epcot ( breakfast platter ) Starring Rolls at HS, and Main St Bakery at MK.( we never do Ropedrop at AK ) So I'am curious if anyone else does similar, and where do you grab a early bite in the parks.?:hungry:
I usually skip breakfast so I'm really
Hungry for a late morning snack or QS lunch! BUT, when I do eat a rope drop breakfast it's usually at SS or Main St Bakery! Other than that, it's a quick bite in our room or a couple nibbles off DD's plates!

Usually at the food court of my hotel. I mean, I said this earlier but with breakfast, anything goes for the most part. I never know how long a TS breakfast can take so I don't want to lose park time hence why I do a CS breakfast almost always, at least if I'm going to the parks that day. If not, I can probably slow down with a TS breakfast.....

Main Street Bakery for us! Or the little fruit stand outside the Safari in AK.

My two favorites are the pre-rope drop crystal palace and tusker house. An early morning stroll to the castle while the park is still waking up is a good way to start the day. And at AK the sounds of the animals in the morning and the feeling of being somewhere far away are another great way to get your day started.

Funny thing about AK..I dont think most care about Rope drop so to speak..that being said I decided to do Donalds Breakfast at the Tusker House on 12 September we sit at 805 AM with the thought we will be in the park before it opens and will hit the Kilimanjaro Safaries right at 9..
One of my favorite breakfasts! You will not be disappointed!

I am surprised that sleepy hollow is such a well kept secret. I will run past Main Street Bakery with its long lines and go to sleepy hollow and get a delicious hand made waffle sandwich with fresh fruit and Nutella. The prosciutto and cheese and egg is pretty awesome as well!

If we did rope drop at the Magic Kingdom and did not have a breakfast reservation at Kona or the Grand Floridian right afterward, that would definitely be my choice, too.

Main street bakery was our until Starbucks took over and now no giant cinnamon rolls:banghead:

Main Street Bakery was our favorite too. Now there is no place for breakfast at MK. The waffles at Sleepy Hollow are icky. Not a cinnamon roll fan. Don't want a buffet. They need to work on bringing another QS to MK.

Grab and go for the most part at the resort. But MK it is Crystal Palace. Even if we are late for the rope drop, we have had a very filling breakfast. Yet somehow we will be hungry in less than 2 hours:hungry:
