Your Favourite Rope Drop Park.

What is this rope drop you speak of. (First timer here)
It's when you can get your travel party to rise early enough and haul booty to get to the park before opening to see the park open. Each park has it's own "opening show". Magic Kingdom is a must-do and probably the most elaborate. The MK rope-drop/opening show gives me goosebumps and makes me misty-eyed every-time! Animal Kingdom is pretty cute too with Mickey and Minnie in safari gear on a safari vehicle.
The bonus is you can usually really take advantage of lighter crowds to hit more attractions early and grab FPs with more reasonable return times (especially in DHS!).

Definitely Definitely Definitely MK!! I absolutely treasure it. As a kid, I didn't even know it existed. I grew up in a family of late-sleepers (with me being the black-sheep early riser), and we never made it to ANY park for opening. To this day, most of my siblings don't even make it to work on time... anyhoo... once I had children my parents took my family to Disney world and being that my family are all early risers, we were up and out the door for the opening of MK (truth be told, I think we were one of the first families there even!) We had NO IDEA they did a ceremony!!! It was so special for us!! Now, we don't miss it for the world - it puts such an extra special touch on your day :)

Magic Kingdom because the family and I love the show. We do the rope drop at HS and Epcot too but only to be there early enough to enjoy TSM (kids aren't into TOT or RnRC yet) and TT a few times.

MK with no hesitation.
My family even made a friend at this rope drop. It's kind of a cool story. One morning as the show begin I saw a CM, at the lockers rental, who sing and dance along with the show. She saw that I was looking at her and smile back at me while she continue her performance. After the show. We met, her name is Tamara and we talk for a while (kind of, as you see English is not my language). For a few trip I was always looking for Tamara the dancing lady. Now she is a manager at the stroller rental and she is not allowed to see the rope drop show anymore. But at every trip we make at the world, we ask to a CM if Tamara is there and we take news from each other family. It’s funny because when we ask for her and she is on her day off, the next day the CM told her ‘’Yesterday a family was looking for you’’ and every time she know that it was my family and I.

So with this story on my background... MK is my favorite rope drop.:D
