Ok..My old friend Crush Dude from Ireland ( WDWMAGIC ) loved his beers, and always said my taste was awful,:(..I do like Coors..:hungry:...Anyway,last year I tried my first Blue Moon from Belgian, complete with a slice of orange..Now here in Scotland,Tenants is a very popular lager, but this Moon had me intrigued with its fruit in it...I really enjoyed the flavour as it was completely different to anything I've ever had before..So what has been your most unusual, and favourite beer at Disney...;)

Blue Moon is a Belgian-style ale, but it's not from Belgium. It's brewed in Golden, CO, just like Coors. In fact, it's under the Coors corporate umbrella. No wonder you liked it!

I will also put in a strong vote for anything with a Unibroue label on it. At Food and Wine last weekend we had their Ephemere (apple cider with champagne yeast) with cherry and it was quite delightful. But usually, you can only get the Unibroue beverages inside Le Cellier, though. There isn't much else that I consider really good or unusual within Disney limits, although I certainly enjoy myself a Guinness or Carl's Combo at Rose and Crown and some of the bottles at Dawa Bar.

I really liked the Shöfferhofer Grapefruit, but I'm not a huge beer fan. Which is good, because it's really a beer/grapefruit juice mix. I'm very much looking forward to trying the Unibroue Éphémère Cerise this year.

We went to a local fund raiser a couple weeks ago that was basically a huge Oktoberfest. $30 tickets and all the beer you can drink. I surprised myself by liking almost everything I tried (and finishing all but one!). The scotch ales were a big hit with our group, which was no surprise to me. I would recommend trying the Innis & Gunn at the Scotland booth this year, especially if you have a taste for whiskey at all. It's made through a similar barrel-aging process to whiskey. I also had several pumpkin ales that I liked. I went back for seconds of the New Belgium Pumpkick. That's another one you might like if you ever get a chance to try it.

I had the Leinenkugel BerryWeiss last year and really enjoyed it, but I like their Summer Shandy better. Haven't tried the Orange Shandy yet.
I really want to try the Xingu Black beer. It sounds exotic enough it'll either be really tasty or really nasty.

I dont think there are any unusual beers I enjoy, I just enjoy trying beer I don't normally get (or can't get) at home. Each restaurant seems to have their own list of local and micro beers. I really enjoy sampling a few each meal. But if I have to pick a WDW favorite, its Tusker Lager.

If you like blue moon you need to try hoegarden. It is the real Belgium one. Blue moon is a copy off of that. I know they serve it at BOG.

....the Moretti La Rossa in Italy is very good ....and has a decent "kick" with an ABV level of +7%.

Just picked up one of them at the local Wegman's - the make your own 6-pack. Pretty good for a doppelbock and it was very smooth.

As for the pumpkin brews . . . I actually like the Blue Moon version and Southern Tier. OK, fine, I have no idea if they are available at WDW. Kinda went off on my own direction for a second.

Back to WDW, as mentioned above, the Tusker Lager is nice. (Even if Bud brews it -- or so I heard. Not 100% sure on that.)

With the craft beer craze these days, I'm kind of surprised there aren't multiple microbreweries on property.
Is Big River the only one?
We've got the original one of those downtown.
