Jump in the water is fine and have some fun! Which water park is your favorite and why at Walt Disney World?

Typhoon lagoon! I like the theming better than blizzard and I never got to go to river country. I'd rather have the tropical theme over snow theming any day. Plus typhoon has a water coaster, swimming with sharks, and I like the lazy river better. Even though I'm not a big fan of the huge waves at typhoon they do have some small waves too which I like.

River Country...it was smaller than the other two and seemed to be a bit more relaxed. It was a waterpark that I could take both children and they could do everything there.

River Country was great. Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are better. We prefer Typhoon Lagoon. Depends on if you want sedate (TL) vs activity (BB).

Typhoon Lagoon, I just prefer the theming over Blizzard Beach, it's probabaly my favourite waterpark in the world, although Siam Park in Tenerife has the best rides of any waterpark I have been to. I did enjoy River Country when I went just the once not long before it closed, but I was only 9 so that might have had something to do with it!

Typhoon Lagoon by a mile!!!!! Used to go to River Country and i have so many great memories but i think nostalgia is making it seem better than it is. But it was awesome when i was a kid!!! But TL has the best wave pool inthe world, shark lagoon, Crush N' Gusher, and an amazing lazy river. It has fantastic theming and is just a superior water park.

Never went to River Country! I was still vacationing, not living, in Orlando and I did not make time for water parks! I was like, "We can go to water parks at home!" The other two...

That is a tough choice to make! If I just want to lie around on the beach, do the lazy river, and have a relaxing time in the wave pool, either will do just fine.

If I want the activity of swimming and/or the giant waves, Typhoon.

Blizzard, in addition to the many many wonderful slides and play areas for kids, has the better thrill slides for older kids/adults. They have the better family ride, too, IMO.

Typhoon has swim with the sharks and the giant wave coming through the wave pool. The giant wave, when it gets to the entry part of the zero-entry, is still cool for babies and toddlers. :) But they tiny tots can have fun splashing the zero-entry part of Blizzard, too. :) Wee ones seem to just enjoy splashing in the water. :) (And they're so cute!)

Toddlers, babies, and younger pre-schoolers, I'd probably pick Typhoon. Kids, in general, I take to Blizzard first. There is just more for them to do there...more easy slides for younger kids who don't do the thrill slides, nicer play areas for young kids. Older kids/thrill slide slide people, totally Blizzard.

Personally, for me, it usually comes down to where I am when I head to WDW. I go to whichever is closest! If I'm leaving from home, that will be Typhoon, but I'll sometimes drive down to Blizzard, even so. :)

I have to give to Typhoon Lagoon, even though I'm a Body Slide junkie. As far as big thrills go, you simply cant compare Summit Plummet to a lot of other body slides, if any. I picked TL because of the superior scenery, the relaxing lazy river and of course, the Wave Pool! The rides arent as heart racing as BB, but the scenery makes up for it all the way.

I miss River Country. It had a more small time family friendly atmosphere. Loved the lazy river that had rapids and the slide that shot off into the pool below. Between Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon I would say Blizzard Beach. Love the theming/layout and design of the park. Typhoon Lagoon does have the saltwater swim over the reef/sharks though.

Shark reef is salty AND chilly. Be prepared for both. It is refreshing, in the strongest sense that I can use that word.

I'm too young to remember River Country (I never actually went, anyways). I've always preferred Blizzard Beach to Typhoon Lagoon, just because of experience. The only time we went to TL, we had to leave because of a bad storm and most of the rides wouldn't have been open again for a while.
