Hi all!

DH and I will be making a desperately needed pilgrimage to WDW in a few weeks.
We have ADRs for Boma dinner, Ohana dinner, Be Our Guest dinner, SciFi lunch, and San Angel Inn lunch. We have been to all of these spots a few times before, but some not for a while. Excluding Ohana I guess due to the delicious fixed menu, what are some of your favorite dishes and options at these spots? What's a splurge worth ordering? What do we HAVE to try?

Thanks! Photos would be a treat :hungry::joyfull:

Sci-fi is so cool. We had burgers and a salmon dish. We really enjoyed our meal. BoG is gorgeous. Love the steak and grey stuff for dessert-choc brownie topped by amazing buttercream. Boma was amazing. So many dishes but loved the spiced salmon, spiced sirloin and roast chicken along with a sweet potato dish and a rice dish. I made multiple trips to the buffet taking little portions of everything and there wasn't much I wouldn't have gone for seconds of. Didn't take to the zebra domes (I know they're a fan fav though) but bread pudding was good.
Ohana has the BEST bread pudding, don't fill up on the pineapple-coconut bread at the start (even though it's delish) as the skewered meats are amazing. Oh I'm hungry now!! Enjoy!:hungry:

@Goofyque' what awesome pictures. That beef looks like a contender for sure. And maybe the soup too! Desserts look great. Those soups sound great at Boma! I hope they have the butternut squash one when we go-that's one our favorite things to eat! Thank you!

Boma: Love the curried pasta salad and the coconut curry soup (I like curry :))
SciFi: Enjoyed the salmon BLT
I don't think I've ever tried the curried pasta at Boma so we will definitely check it out. Ooo that salmon BLT sounds good. How fishy did it taste? I like fish, but nothing too strong. Thanks!

This sounds great! I do the same at Boma-lots of trips for little portions. Ok maybe they're big portions :D DH starts panting when bread pudding is mentioned so he will be sure to enjoy that wherever it offered. We actually do not like the zebra domes either. Thanks!

Boma - try EVERYTHING that doesn't conflict w/ allergies.

Literally put a bite's worth of food on your plate for everything. Soups just a little taste of everything. Make several trips and make lots and lots and lots of plates and bowls dirty. If done right you will have dirtied about 5 plates and 5 bowls and still be plenty hungry.

Then get more of what you really like. Then get dessert (specifically the more interesting deserts). If you find the Zebra Domes good, go to the Mara after and get some to bring back to your room (if you aren't staying at the lodge you might want to load up).

(and I've just noticed others here in this thread do Boma the same).

Be Our Guest for dinner is the only one I have been to on your list. My daughter and I both got the steak and I had the potato leek soup. Both were delicious. We also had the Strawberry Cupcake which was great. My photos are very dark because it was so dark in the restaurant but here they are...

Great idea to basically get a small amount every single thing and try it. We will accept this challenge! Thanks!

Wow that all looks great. I've had the lemon cupcake there before and it was very good, but that strawberry one looks amazing too! Thanks!

I loved my dinner at BOG, BUT I hate FF (I know positively unAmerican! Lol)
I asked our waiter what I could sub for them and he recommended the yummiest baked fingerling potatoes ever! DH and I devoured them. They were devine, so make sure you order the yummy baked potatoes there!

For BOG, potato leek soup sounds fantastic.
For Boma, I've heard tons of praise for coconut curry soup (and those zebra domes :hungry:) and they have good rice everytime I've gone.

At BOG, our group has had all the entrees, and enjoyed every single one - except the chicken. The sauce that it came with made it near inedible, and the person who ordered it passed it around to the rest of us, and not one of the six of us liked it. That being said, it MIGHT have been a fluke - my cousin loves that dish. So YMMV. I personally have had the pork, the steak, and the lamb, and I absolutely loved all of them - I'd give the lamb a slight edge though. The soups, both potato leek and french onion are both really good, as is the grey stuff.

I always go classic at Sci-Fi - bacon cheddar burger with fries and a nice milkshake (usually chocolate, oreo, or in winter, peppermint!).

The braised pork at BOG is my favorite thing - I wish I had photos for you! I've had it twice, and it's a must have if we go there on our trips.

At Sci-Fi we usually get burgers, sometimes I get the veggie burger which I really like. We always get the onion ring appetizer, we love their onion rings. I can't have too much dairy, but my husband swears they have the best milkshakes too.

BOG we liked the mussels appetizer and my daughter liked the salmon with leak fondue that she had disney do that as an option at her wedding. At boma I can't pass the samosas with the mango puree. It's such a little thing but for me they're addicting.

Boma: Mulligatawny...and ZEBRA DOMES.
Ohana: I honestly liked the appetizers more than the meats (wings and dumplings)
Be Our Guest: French Onion Soup, Grilled Strip Steak, Strawberry Cream Cheese Cupcake :inlove:
SciFi: Used to be the All-American Picnic Burger but they pulled it from the menu...so I'd have to say The Reuben and a Oreo Cookie Milkshake.
San Angel Inn: Arrachera con Chilaquiles. Not a fan of their desserts.
