Your Chill Out QS Restaurant.

Good Morning Everyone. Now there's nothing worse than standing in the queue at a QS restaurant,getting your meals onto the tray,only to find there's no seats.The first time we went to CHH at MK,I had read about the upstairs part of the restaurant and that's where we head every time.Its never that busy,even in July,and we try to get a table at the window overlooking Haunted and its a great place to chill out and eat while people watching.So have you got a favourite chill out QS restaurant at WDW.?

Your are two funny that's exactly what we do, my husband was thrilled when we were there in 11/11 and there was no one upstairs at CHH and we overlooked the Mansion. It's our must do at MK. Our fav thing to do is people watch and this is a perfect spot.

we love the outside at cosmic rays. It overlooks the water and has a great view of the castle. We just sit there and take it all in. We go in September, and no one is out there, it is our little haven.

I also like the upstairs of CHH.

My dd loves Lotus Blossom in China. It's not wildly popular, and we've never had seating issues there. It is not in the a/c, but it's in a covered and shaded area.

My favorite cs spot is La Cantina. The quality of the food has declined within the past year, though sitting by the water is pretty if it's not too hot. If it's too hot, La Hacienda is usually open for lunch seating. A margarita will somewhat make up for the slip in food quality!

I had no idea there was an upstairs to Columbia House!! Thanks for this great tip. Anyone have a photo of the view from upstairs?

We love to take food (not their food!!) inside of ABC Commisary and relax in there. It's never crowded (hmm) and we love the environment to just sit and relax until we're ready to venture more.

All the suggestions are great. I would add Flame Tree BBQ in DAK. Lots of cozy little cubbyholes underneath a canopy of trees. Some tables have a nice view of Everest.

Flame Tree BBQ and a nice spot out of the way in the back of the tables. Of course we have to fight the ducks, but that just turns out to be a bit of comedy anyway.

It's surprising how many people do not know about this.Theres a condiment station also upstairs,with plenty of seating.And toilets on the first floor.Once you get up the stairs,turn left then you'll see the windows overlooking the Mansion.

Whit!!! Had to look twice here,then check my calendar that its not April 1st.You are a rare commodity that actually has managed to eat at ABC and keep the food down.I reckon it serves the worse food in all of WDW.Only my opinion.

My favorite QS chill spot is La Cantina de San Angel. Most people aren't aware that you can take your food inside the restaurant and eat. We pick either a big circular booth or a table overlooking the water. Both times we have done this we were the only people in the restaurant! The staff actually waited on us and picked up our desserts and brought them to us. Kinda cool to have an entire restaurant to yourself! But, shhhh...don't tell anyone.

Another vote for the tables in back of the Flame Tree BBQ. I love sitting back there, right on the water and looking over at Everest. Since the Kiddo's don't like BBQ, I always run over to get them their pizza's at Pizzafari and bring it back to our spot behind Flame Tree.

The harbor house upstairs is our place as well. I can't think of a time we were not able to get a table, even at the busiest of times.

I like sitting by the windows at PORS and looking out onto the river at night while enjoying a nice meal. Also, I agree with everyone who says CHH upstairs. And Cosmic Ray's sitting there listening to Sunny while I enjoy their burgers and fries both dipped in cheese sauce. Mmmmm.
