It used to really bother me when adults would get a smug look and say "you will understand when you are older". At fifteen I felt so mature and knowing. I was quite practical and responsible at fifteen but I didn't have experience nor was I a parent...sigh. Nothing wrong with being fifteen, I enjoyed it myself :lol, but when you are older you can kind of see things comming I sure didn't have the patience for children that I do now. Being a mommy has softened me as has getting older.
Very good point about planning to take the kids again and again. I do not plan on a once in a lifetime trip to disney. I don't feel there is "one perfect age" to experience disney and if there were, how is that fair to the rest of the siblings who are older and younger than the "perfect" age. Things you enjoy at 2 are not going to thrill at 5 and so on. Great excuse to keep going and going, there always seems to be a new ride each time I go
