Oooh...wonder if we'll be able to upgrade the hubby's unusued 10-day MYW ticket to his AP at the resort. That would be sweet! My luck? The answer will be a big ol' fat N-O! Eh, such is life... :D

once upon a time

this was always available to guests staying at the resorts. each year we always purchases our AP's at the Caribbean Beach. not really sure what year they stopped it, it was quite awhile ago. glad to see them saying hmmm this is a nice thing to do for our resort guests once again.

What would be the best place to add a pre purchased park ticket to a KTTW card? Or can you do that? I am adding a person the the room ressie only on arrival for four days and bought a discount 5 for 3 day ticket via my employer.

Correct, up until now you couldn't get an AP at the resorts. The problem came from the fact that the front desk and park ticketing ran two totally different systems. They were able to cross-connect some admission media, but not all of them.

It sounds like they've been working on these ticketing issues for a while now. For the longest time the special 14-day and 21-day tickets that UK residents could buy at home couldn't be encoded onto room keys. But that changed a year or two ago. Now it seems like they've finally got everything working together.

We have been able to do both of these for 4-5 years. We just asked at the desk when we checked in and they have done it with no problems in the past.

I purchased mine at the Contemporary three weeks before I checked into Beach Club Villas. I was staying at our off-property condo at the time. So they definitely do it for off-property guests.

Yes you can buy annual passes at any of the resorts. You can also get them printed on the plastic kttw key. You can't use the monthly payments though. You have to buy it outright to get them at the resorts.

This is exactly what we have done for a while now, much better quality.

But just to clarify and make sure I understand, your AP will still be on a different KTTW-type card, not your KTTW for that stay, right? So you still have your normal KTTW with your room key and meal plan and charging privileges, then a second one that is your AP.

Correct.

It is good news that you can redeem the AP vouchers are the resorts. We were at WDW 3 weeks ago and redeemed our vouchers at the MK because we didn't want to stop at DTD as we did in previous years.

As far as a monthly payment plan for APs, we do that all time. It's called a credit card.

I am wondering this as well, we need to upgrade our tickets to APs when we arrive.

Not exactly though. Florida residents can use the monthly payment plan and they pay 0% interest on the pass. Credit cards don't give you anything for free (at least after the first couple of months).

Question: Since they can sell and print tickets, can they also do upgrades?

Also, and more importantly to me (since I'll have to do this in 3 days), can you take a Will Call Voucher to concierge and pick up tickets?
