Yes, those wonderful movies featuring state of the art special effects and riveting plot twists - I remember them fondly! :D

 You have to sort of wonder about a series that actually has a movie where the cast plays themselves outside of the movie being terrorized by the fictional character from the movie that they made in the movie you are watching… Or something like that. :lookaroun

Hey...I liked the "New Nightmare"! :D

The series had gotten pretty d*** boring ....at least this one was semi-interesting! :animwink:

3 - 4 ...better lock your door...

What if we had the technology of today in the 80's

Oh, don't even get me started on the Vacation flicks! Of course I totally love them, but I have a huge nit-pick with the ending ....Oh Lord, the whole premise I guess of the original!

I still enjoy the flicks though! :)

I think I actually lived the original Vacation movie.... Minus the corpse and when we got to disney land there was a mouse and my dad didn't have to hold up the security gaurd. But aside from that it was an exact replica.. Yes I have seen the worlds largest mud ball and I hate my parents for it everyday. :)

Ocean Pacific, That silly surfer hair. And most importantly Van Halen wasn't a buch of old guys with ear plugs. If I had the 80's to do over I would remember 3 things

1. Invent the Internet ( Beat Al Gore to the Chase )
2. Kill the designer of Z Cavarichi (SP) Sorry
3. Stop Grunge before it starts :)

What are your favorite 80's memories? Mine would be some of the wonderful cinema that was born in the 80's. Molly Ringwald eat your heart out.

Fast Times
Breakfast Club
and the ever shocking Nightmare on Elm Street Saga... How many parts were there to that movie anyway?
And we must never forget the comic stlyings of Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong. DUDE!!!!!

OH GOD MY FIRST VCR WAS BETA...... Getting Old I guess!

I still wear Ocean Pacific... :lookaroun I wore it and bugel boy religiously as a kid too along with some Body Glove stuff lol. :D

Do you remember the clothes that would change color where you touched them. Those were cool. A buddy of mine microwaved his (microwaves were like 600 bucks back then too) and he broke it. Do you remember your first bag of microwave popcorn while we are on the subject.

Oh my god I still own 2 atari 2600 Games systems and Yes I do have ET. But I think the trademark for the decade had to be Pac-Man. Technology sure has advanced.

I think they made more copies of this game then they had systems.... I read that this was the largest video game return ever after Christmas. Their are still hundreds in the package today that have yet to be sold.

I loved the eighties! I still have this long black and purple jacket; it looks like Prince would have worn it! My dad wears it when he dresses like Beetlejuice!
I had seriously big hair, and a 38-26-35 figure. What I would give to relive that:lol:

lol, I am a child of the 80's, (1985, to be exact), and not very many of those pertain to me..except for the TV stuff. Alf and Fraggle Rock were awesome!

Otherwise, I was too busy drawing and watching Bugs Bunny to notice any of the trends of the decade. :D
