Ride was closed today. Hopefully it will be up and running tomorrow.

Thanks, crossing my fingers for tomorrow. Hopefully they got everything they needed to today.

EDIT: Was it scheduled to be in operation today and just did not open? Or was it scheduled to not be open at all? Thanks

That was a really good video good job. The Mummy AA is pretty good, but its basically like disney's latest and greatest

Just an update, rode today, the yeti was in prime working condition again.

Something that I just noticed, if you sit in the front couple rows, you can see the yeti's eyes glowing red, it's a pretty cool effect.

I was in Animal Kingdom on Feb 19 and I rode EE three times. I had read about B mode and the moment I saw the Yetti I knew that this is what I was seeing. I told my bf but he was convinced it was working. We went back on the 21st and saw the Yetti in action. It makes a HUGE difference. The cave is REALLY dark when the thing is not working, you can barely see anything at all. It REALLY takes away from the experience. The steam effect never worked and I was a bit bummed by that.
I am a universal fan but I must admit that EE is superior to ROTM. Both awesome rides but Everest has that amazing show building and provides such a complte experience, comparable to ToT... once the vegetation grows in it'll be breathtaking.

The very first time I rode EE, there must've been a serious probelem with the yeti, because right before you enter that area, the train stopped, then continued slowly through the yeti area, and the yeti was all lit up but with no fans and it wasn't moving, where we continued to to go slowly to the exit. But when I went again it was working fine.
