Revenge of the Mummy definately the longest line ever for a ride haha ... but i love the ride... never seen the b mode of a ride yet so hopefully one day i will get the chance

Guess you haven't ridden Dueling Dragons at IoA. In fact, it used to be so long that it took up the area where the Flying Unicorn coaster is now. It was mostly unused due to the high capacity of DD, so that part of the queue was removed. It is still darn long though, plus that castle is creepy.

Today at Everest wasn't the best of days. The yeti was still in "B" show all day and the ride was having technical difficulties for a better part of the day. The good news though was the steam effect was back in full force for half the day (it turned off in the afternoon) and Kodak was in the shop installing some equipment for our image capture system, which should be up next week.

I hope they can get all the kinks worked out before the attraction really opens to the public officially. (maybe they need to stop the previews and fix it now)

I took a quick trip down to WDW today mainly to ride EE for my first time. It was a great ride! When I got to AK, the times board said wait time was 40 min; at EE itself 50 minutes wait was posted - however my actual wait was just 25 minutes. When I got on the train, the CM mentioned the single rider line (which is also the fastpass line) - so I rode 2 more times for a total of 3 times in an hour - yay!

Even if the ride was in B-mode, I don't think the average rider wouldn't know. Like I said, it was my first times riding so I've never seen A-mode. I just wish the strobes were a little brighter - I could've sworn the yeti was moving.

And BTW, I think EE grinds ROTM into the dirt (and ROTM wasn't too bad - I rode that one 3 times in a row also) Also, ALL queues at US/IoA are a mile long.

I know this type of question gets asked alot, but any word when the Yeti will be working again? Any updates from today?

I know this comes across self-serving, but I'm meeting some friends this weekend who haven't been on Everest yet. I've told them how cool the Yeti is and I'd love for them to see the working version. I'm curious myself to see the "B show", but I'd rather not ;)

Anyway, glad to hear they've got the steam effect working again, even if for just part of the day. Hopefully it will continue to work. Was it on today?

That is the point of having the attraction open - seeing what works and what doesn't. This IS them working out the kinks.

Perhaps they are not testing the Yeti at all... but rather testing guest reactions to the Yeti's B-show. Maybe next week there will be no Yeti! ;)

Today was a pretty good day at Everest except for a 45 minute delay to some minor problems. Yeti was still in "B" show but WDI was scaling the mountain after park hours tonight in an attempt to remedy the situation. Steam was working half the day. Disney has not decided as of now if they are opening the ride tomorrow. It is all dependant on what WDI needs to do and what Kodak needs to do to finish off the photo system, but if the ride opens tomorrow, it won't be until late afternoon.

Have you heard if they plan on closing it on Saturday?
