yet another dining plan question

If there are no child appetizer or dessert options, do they get to pick something off of the regular menu? Or do they just forfeit this option? I know the plan is still a good deal regardless, but just want to be prepared.

The way I read it, they have to pick from the children's menu if there is one. As far as I can tell, all the table service restaurants [that aren't buffet or AYCE] have children's menus and all have appetizers/entrees/desserts.

Check the menus for the restaurants you're considering to confirm, but I'm pretty sure they've all got kid's menus.

What about at counter service restaurants? A dessert is included, but most don't specify a child's dessert. Can we then pick a regular dessert for our child?

I'd say yes. I never had any problems with Counter Service...

Most likely, you can pick a regular dessert. Sometimes, the desserts available are in junior size. (ex: Liberty Inn, Epcot. I had mini-American Jellos three times during last trip. :lol: )
