On our trip this winter with my family my sister wants to get sushi for lunch one day. The problem is the other four of us don't care for sushi and would rather not go to table service lunch in Japan. I've noticed Yakitori House has counter service with California rolls, spicy tuna rolls and beef sushi rolls. Has anyone tried these? Are they a good quick service option for my sister if she is still hoping for some sushi while we are there?

Thanks!

They are a good quick option. If she is not too particular then it will be fine. If she wants high end sushi then it will not go over well.

It really depends on what sort of sushi you sister is into. If the sort of stuff you can get in a grocery store is OK to her, then she will be fine.

California Rolls are avacado, cucumber, and crab stick (or Krab) - nothing that is going to spoil too quickly

Spicy Tuna is yesterdays tuna, chipped up, with hot sauce added so you can't taste it's old.

Beef is, well beef - again it holds well.

For what they are, they are good. But if she is looking for roe, fatty tuna, sea urchin, or anything like that, she is going to be disappointed.

Like the others have said...if she is just looking to have sushi and doesn't care about having anything special, then it will work. The items are fresh, but far from anything great. The other options are Yakitori house are very good though. The Japanese Curry rice is a favorite of mine, and apparently one of the more authentic items you can find there.

Perfectly said.

Disney World has some great spots for sushi.
Kimonos, Tokyo Dining and the California Grill are Gems.
(I haven't yet tried the Poly's sushi bar)

Yakitori House offers an acceptable fast food version of these.

If your willing to venture into downtown Orlando(I don't see why so many out of towners are scared to), that's where the good stuff is. Amura sushi is the best ever. As for within the bubble, I would say it's up to par with grocery store quality.
