Yachtsman vs Shula’s

That is a tough one, but I would give a slight edge to Yachtsman. We have always had better service there. The food quality is a toss up, they are both top notch. The scallops appetizer at Yachtsman is probably my favorite.

Looks like Shula's gets the edge. I forgot to add the Parmesan Crusted Potatoe gratin is an unbelievable side item to go with your steak. Pan seared scallops are a great starter as well. We've even had them split that for us.

I need to try that molten lava cake next time it sounds like!

This seems to be the consensus when the question is posed elsewhere as well.

Shula's is a TOP-NOTCH Lobster destination

The lobster's that good, is it? I hesitate to order lobster when I'm out these days because I'm so jaded by the many excellent seafood restaurants I used to frequent back home in New England. I'm headed to Shula's during my next stay -I'm going to have to seriously consider trying theirs.

I also live in New England (Worcester, MA). Shula's is the closest thing to home. :)

Shula's is excellent. We have been going for years. The wait staff is consistent and many of the same people for years and years. They are all pros.
This! We've also been going for years and not once have had a bad experience. Waiters and waitresses are actual professional servers. Which on Disney property isn't common. People used to buy Tables in Wonderland for V&A's but since that's been discontinued Shulas is the new gem on property for the discount.

Lobster and molten lava cake will be on my table next visit!

I have not been to Shula's. I had a fantastic experience at Yachtsmans though. Our waitress was phenomenal. Being from Iowa, I'm skeptical of steakhouses in Florida, as corn fed beef has more flavor. I mentioned this to our waitress and she said that he beef is flown in from Iowa, interesting. It was very good.

Just don't expect to pay at Shula's with your Magic Band; please bring a credit card.
