For clarification, I'm assuming you meant to say, "MK's parking lot" as opposed to "WDW's parking lot" (since WDW has quite a lot of parking lots for it's many separate parks, etc).

Having said that, this isn't really all that fascinating a fact as it sounds. Prior to DCA, Disneyland could fit into it's OWN parking lot too. And I'm pretty sure that MK could fit into IT'S parking lot. In fact, I think most (if not all) theme parks are generally smaller than their respective parking lots. If you were to take the massive DLR parking garage and add up the total acreage of each of the levels, I'll bet that would add up to more than DL, DCA and DTD combined.

Can anyone confirm if that would be correct?

But you know what???
I heard WDW is the size of San Fransisco 47 miles
I want to visit WDW someday
then I will decide But til then I Love DisneyLand:sohappy: :slurp: :hammer:

I grew up with Disneyland and never thought too much about the size of the structures....until I went to WDW for the first time. Now when I go to Disneyland I'm struck by how the castle, in particular, is so much smaller.

Mitch, I can't wait to hear your first impressions of WDW after you visit there for the first time. And yes, it is actually slightly larger than the city of San Francisco.

DL's parking lot

DL's parking lot is actually the largest parking structure in Southeren California (I would venture to say the nation, but I'm not positive on that.).

As for it's size - You're right! When we first went to WDW, we were surprised on how BIG everything is!

But then again, the castle in Disneyland is BIG when you consider his budget!

It's a very quiant place (though sucks when it's busy and I agree about the adventureland traffic jams).

One reason Disneyland appears so small is because it was designed on a 5/8 scale while the Magic Kingdom is built at 1:1 or actual size. This means that many things on the ground floor at DL were originally built at just slightly over half the normal size. The floors above ground level at both parks use forced perspective to make them appear taller.

Yes, but something tells me that San Francisco has certain "attractions" shall we say and "lands" that you'll never find in any Disney park.
