Would you prefer a larger shower and no tub?

Shower or bath?

So in another thread (in which there was a little brouhaha due to some misunderstanding) a poster asked about a size of the tubs in the rooms. My wife and I kind of find the idea of taking a bath for the purpose of bathing a little gross when compared to a shower. My question is would people here rather have a really nice large shower with a bunch of amenities (bench, rain shower head and shower massage, etc) or do they prefer a bath? We figured a lot of families like the bath for younger kids but how many adults actually take a bath?

Other than sharing a bath with my wife (OKW jacuzzi tub) not had a bath in years shower is perfect for me its refreshing and easy to have a good scrub before or after long day. My wife loves a bath and would refuse to live or vacation in a property without one .

Having just a shower would be very difficult for bathing my young kids. They hate having water in their faces. I think many young kids are the same. Since so many young kids come to Disney, tubs are necessary. If you don't like taking a bath just use the shower. There really is no purpose to a large shower.
With having two little ones, a tub is great. However, I really like the shower set up over in the Poly DVC rooms.
The part about kids is kind of what my wife and I figured.
As for having a large shower, the benefit is that you can fit two people in there, especially when kids aren’t on the trip with you;)

Shower for assure which is why we like 1 bedrooms. We stopped with baths when offspring hit about 2. So in general we find tubs useless

Definitely a shower. Most of the hotel tubs aren’t big enough to stretch out and have a good soak.

Ideally id like a Japanese bathroom set up where you have a shower outside the tub in a wet room style set up (having a bath is,so much better when you’ve washed already Japanese style) but where space is limited id gladly change the shower / tub combo for a good shower set up

Like most master bathrooms within homes in the USA, built in the past 20 years or so? ;)

I love a nice bath when I have time. I typically wouldn't sit in a hotel tub because I think it's gross, but certain better hotels (including better Disney ones) keep them clean. (Still, on the rare occasion I would use it, I clean it first LOL.)

When we bought our house, the master shower had five different shower heads and a slew of different settings. The only one we use is the "regular" mode and occasionally the handheld head to let our daughter play. Fancy showers are great for about one use and then you get over it.
