worth it to switch?

I just got an offer code on a better room rate and free park hoppers.
Just got off the phone. It was $283 price drop to stay in POFQ gArden view with free park hoppers.

What I'm confused on....

If we move to Caribbean Beach standard it's an additional $200 cheaper. A preferred is more than our current deal so we wouldn't do that. How bad is the standard room location? I'm also not sure about the double beds...

We are going in June and I'm worried about transportation....that's one of my loves of POFQ. I'm also worried about how big CB is.

I think that the standards are quite a walk but, don't know because we got upgraded to preferred on our trip this past December. We were in Trinidad North which was close to EVERYTHING! The buses ran pretty frequently. Longest we waited was 20 minutes one morning going to a breakfast ressie, of course! (LOL!!!) Anyway, we originally wanted to stay at POR but, we booked with a pin code in which POR wasn't available so we went with CBR. We were pleasantly surprised with all of the negative reviews. While it is huge we LOVED it! Absolutely beautiful!!! Only negatives are double beds & the food court. (POP & AOA are much better!)

If you request a standard room in Jamaica or Aruba "near the footbridge" then it is a 5 minute walk to the food court, the main pool, and to the bus stop. We love CBR with its beaches, hammocks, and steel drum music. The only down side is the double beds vs the queens you could get at POFQ.

I have stayed at CB in the past and if you get in the wrong building then you are talking a long walk to the food court and pool or wait for an internal shuttle. You are right also, CB has double beds not queens. Each has a dedicated bus line to the parks but with CB the busses have to stop at each island resort. My pick would be POFQ.

Go with POFQ. It's a much smaller resort. I am not a fan of CBR at all, but that's just me. I love the atmosphere of FQ and the fact that you can jump on the boat and get to downtown Disney in just a few minutes.
