Worst Show at a theme park

Touche (sp?)!!! That's probably why I love the UK so much and want to go there before i hit 30! I love the British!!! :) :D :)
I do wish that the UK pavillion had some sort of attraction to add to the atmosphere and better gift shops that give me more of a taste of the UK! At least i've got the fish and chips, although i'm sure that they're nothing like the real deal!

I've only seen Tarzan Rocks on video and that was enough for me. It was AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:hammer: :hammer:  What were they thinking. On the other hand, I can't wait to The Festival Of The Lion King.

Cheers:wave:

Nope. They do pick some regular folks from the audience but there's always one guy there jumping up and down in a brightly colored shirt (so he can be seen) that's acutally part of the show.

He's supposed to look stupid.

However, there are (have been) several different Indy's. I've never really encountered one that was bad.

I read through the whole list of comments and couldn't believe it took this long for someone to mention Tarzan Rocks! The ONLY cool part about this show the one and only time I sat through it was that we saw it with interpretors for the deaf -- they were awesome! Dancing to the music and doing the lines -- quite impressive. Otherwise, I was embarassed at what Disney came up with for entertainment here. The cheesy wig on Tarzan, and what was up with the skateboarders? It was just terrible.

I do love Fantasmic at MGM -- never got to see Disneyland's Fantasmic because for the four days we were in California last year, they didn't show it. So if it's better, I'll never know because it would take somekind of Disney miracle to get me back to Disneyland -- what a disappointment! I also love AA -- gives me Patriotic goosebumps everytime.

The worst part about Tarzan Rocks is that they took out the Jungle Book Show, which I loved!!

I've seen the stunt show at six flags new england. It's sad to say the least. It is something that, for those of you going to the new england amusement park, I suggest that you don't waste your time on. It's the pinicle of cheese. The stunts in the "stunt spectacular" aren't that spectacular and the whole thing should either be made more interesting or torn down.

As for a show at disney that I thinkis crappy, I'm not sure what to put. I have always enjoyed the shows. I love fantasmic and I enjoy the Indy stunt show, although it needs to be updated. I haven't seen the dug show, but from what I've heard it's nothing big. I didn't think that the hunchback show was that great either, but it was ok. The tarzan show was pretty cool.

I have not seen all of the shows so i really can't judge, but that's my opinion.

I don't really go to theme parks to see shows. With the exception of a few Disney shows... the rest are just garbage. Stunt shows bore me and local talent, is... "Local talent"

I learned a long time ago... stay away from the shows.

BUT the worst Disney show I've witnessed was the Hunchback show at he studios. The Theater was too small, and it felt like a high school production.

I agree that the DL version of Fantasmic! is far superior to the MGM version. Too many corners were cut when they built MGM's. It looks REALLY cheap.

Oh -- I just thought of the show I hate most of all at Disney. Absolutely despise it -- the countdown show at Pleasure Island! It's aweful! I guess if you're drunk you probably don't notice, but I was really disappointed when we spent $100 each on New Year's eve 1998 thinking we were getting something special and they showed the regular countdown show (which, as usual, was mistimed anyway).

I think the singing in this show is superb, Its the one musical show that I will make the effort to go and see. The stage show as such is hardly West End standards, but the performances are, and compared to some better.

I fully agree about Tarzan I wont wate my time visiting that again.

MGM

I'm sure my vote would be for a non-Disney show at a cheesy park somewhere, but I never see the shows in little parks.

So, myvote has to be for the old Muppet live action show at MGM, as much as I hate to say it. I believe it was in the same theatre that the 3-D is in now. The 3-D is awesome, but the lif size Muppets singing "Shout" was just not that good. :animwink:

This will be considered blasphemy, but i think that the Studios as whole is kind of ... poor. There are a few shows and attractions that are outstanding: Star Tours, Fantasmic, Rnr rollercoaster, TOT, indiana jones. But for the most part the park can completed in an afternoon.

The worst is the backlot tour. In simple terms, it is a drive thru a junkyard.

I would rather spend my time at Epcot.

This is where I find people's opinions fascinating. They are so different from my own. I adore MGM -- it's my favorite park. To what you listed, I'd like to add as some of my favorite things, Muppets 4D, The Beauty & The Beast Stage Show, fantastic restaurants. And I like the Drew Carey sound show. Not mention that I love the atmosphere of the place.

On the other hand, I find Epcot a little boring. I don't mind being there -- and love visiting the Italy pavilion, which was the site of my wedding -- but the park in all just isn't my favorite.
