I heartily agree...as far as I'm concerned Test Track back to World of Motion too. I am hoping and praying the same meaningful-to-thrill change doesn't befall Spaceship Earth.

Oh Gawrsh.... uhhh... let me tink.....

The absolute worst changeover would have to be ... the JII with Figment from JII from the original Journey Into Imagination.

I wanted to ask if there was actually anyone out there who enjoys the JII refurbs? I haven't met one yet.

The only part of the current JII refurb that I enjoy is the final scene of the ride with Figment's choral reprise of 'One Little Spark.'

That one little blip of upbeat music is what has kept me from declaring the pavillion a target for missle testing.

People its not going to magically rebuild itself.

BUILD A BRIDGE AND GET OVER IT.

Im not saying its going to "magically" change back....dont have a heartattack now just cause I said that. It is my opinion...that's what this thread was asking for....AN OPINION ABOUT REVAMPED RIDES!!!!!!! :brick:

I couldn't agree more! I rode the original...my favorite ride ever...then was excited to ride the changed attraction and boy was I disappointed. I then rode it again after the addition of figment and at the end I said "YES THIS IS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE"....and then it was over. The best part of the ride lasts a few seconds

Oh good point... I did forget that. But I kind of like Buzz. Dreamflight was pretty good, but I feel like Buzz was done very well.

I feel like some of the quality is missing on Buzz...but it is fun!

I think it would be more fun if cars went in groups rather than one long train so that you could be declared the best space ranger in your group! :king:

I personally like SGE...The worst revamped would have to be Imagination, especially the second version. The most recent revamp is better than it was!

After touring DLR this summer, I would be happy to just get the same quality rides like they have out there. Buzz, Tiki, HM, Space Mountain, Peter Pan,..................now i want them all down here :(

I actually love the New Management... though that may have to do with the fact that I never saw the original. :animwink:

I also think Test Track rules, but that could be becuse I live in Michigan (TIGERS YEAH!) and my Dad works for GM (CARS YEAH!).

Stitch's Mediocre-at-Best Escape DOES suck, but really, it's just a different version of Alien Encounter, which I was never too into in the first place. The pre-show IS the bomb, though.

The changes to Imagination just kill me though. The original version of that ride was one of my defining experiences in my first really big trip to the world. I'm pretty sure I died a little inside on the newest version... luckily I missed the second version, otherwise I might have completely died. Seriously, if they can't do a good Figment ride, maybe they need to scrap the ride all together and start fresh--the current ride is more akin to something you'd ride in Chester and Hester's Dinoland than EPCOT.

1. Under New Management
2. The current Journey Into Imagination
3. Test Track
4. While I like Mission: Space, I would prefer to have Horizons back as well.

And I, too, like Stitch's Great Escape! One of the best of the new attractions...in my opinion. Certainly it's better than Alien Encounter ever was.

I say Imagination only because I don't remember riding the original when it was still around and I'd love to take a spin to see what all the fuss is about!

You mean the pre-show that was barely changed from the AE one? I'm fairly convinced SIR has the exact same movements, they just re-recorded his speech.

And they left Skippy in there.. I mean, I can't believe I'm about to say this, but it almost feels like a lazy refurb :lookaroun

Test Track: no. World of Motion: yes
Nemo's "Seas": no. Living Seas: yes.
Mission: Space: no. Horizons: yes.
The "New" Land: no. Living with the Land: yes.

As you can see, I am all against the "Pixar-ization" of Disney World.

Cheap. Cheesy. No original thought required whatsoever. And totally un-imaginative.

Disney World has lost its impetus to create new things. Just the same old rehash of spent ideas.

Imagination takes the prize here....ugh! So disappointing. What were they thinking?

However, the Tiki Room revamp was actually so upsetting to me that even though it was one of my absolute favorites as a child, I have not set foot in it after one pass through the new one. :hurl: Worst!!!

Stitch is very weak too...so that would make my top three here as well.

I'm usually not *too* much of a purist (i.e. I don't have a coronary every time something gets painted  :animwink:....well...at least not most of the time...) but those three really stand out to me. Yuck.
