Worst Disney Villian

If you're asking about "Worst" Disney villain as meaning least effective, or worst-made Disney villain, I'd pick Edgar (the butler) from The Aristocats. Just a clumsy coward with no charismatic or respectable qualities found in effective, timeless villains.

If you're meaning worst villain as in the most evil, then by far it's Maleficent. She is, afterall, the mistress of all evil. (And to go THAT insane over not being invited to a ceremony??)

Interesting sidenote. Out of all the Disney animated films from Snow White to Tangled, the only villain to ever win in the end was the Headless Horseman (Brom Bones) from The Adventures Of Ichabod & Mr. Toad. Maybe not the most evil, but definitely the most effective considering he ran off the hero & got the girl. Not the usual ending to most Disney films.

Excellent analysis there, Crockett!:sohappy:

To me without a doubt, it's the Wicked Queen from Snow White. Not only did she want to have Snow White killed, but she wanted the huntsman to bring back her heart in a box! Pure evil...no other villain can compete with that!

IMO, the hunters that killed Bambi's mum! :fork: I watched that movie once as a child and cried for days  I have not seen it since, just thinking about me gives me chills! Why did Disney have to put an element of death and saddness in their movies? "It is what happens in life, it teaches children how to deal with emotions" is not a good answer!!! Disney = sickly sweet & happiness, not the real world please!

Get one! I bought this one for DD and he is sweet as pie. Says the cutest things. And he smells awesome. :D

He is cute, love the strawberry smell. If only they had, had him redeem himself at the end of the movie. (but him being tied to the truck and the "claw" jokes were just too much to pass up.)

I am actually torn and it is between two villians not yet mentioned. Jafar from Alladin was vindictive and planned on taking over the universe, while not only being ready to kill, but humiliate his victims first for his own entertainment. Then there is Clayton from Tarzan. He was there to hunt and kill gorillas and proved he would be willing to kill anyone that got in his way. His kind of evil resonated as real.

I always thought Ursula was pretty bad in The Little Mermaid. Not only that, she scared me pretty good when I was younger, at the end when she gets huge.

On a personal level, Lotso makes me mad and sad. He's so cute and he smell like strawberries and I TOTALLY want a Lotso plush, but....he's freakin' EVIL and I just can't bring myself to get one. *grump*

Haha, I bought a Lotso plush last year before the film came out because he was so cute and quite heavily marketed in the parks. My thoughts were "surely a bear so cute wouldn't be a baddie?"

Of course I was wrong and all I get these days is a reminder of how I have an evil bear sitting on my bed. My excuse is he is mis-understood and all he wants is lots of hugs and attention (and that statement doesnt make me sound weird at all!!:lol:)

There is only one answer to this question...

Maleficent.jpg

Totally agree!! MALEFICENT!! Eleanor Audley was one of the best voices Disney ever used (did Cinderella's step Mother too).

Oh - she was also the voice of Leota in the Haunted Mansion!

Not a big fan of Hopper from A Bug's Life. He was going to squish poor Dot! And Foulfellow certainly lead Pinochio down a very bad path. But Hades from the Hercules movie goes down as the "most-evil" villain in Disney Movies. He actually IS the devil!
