Glad you guys like the pics . Today I went to Epcot and made a very brief trip to DD to pick up The Art of Walt Disney World. Gotta say that the crowds at Epcot today were barbaric! People pushing and shoving to get to Soarin' at the start of the day; strollers bruising my ankles; Line cutting going on left and right! :dazzle: Oh well, still managed to have a good time.

As far as Epcot goes:
- SSE: there were tiny, very dim spotlights shining up on the curtains on the right side of the descent. Haven't seen this mentioned before, though I would bring it up.
- TT: They seem to be in the process of replacing all the TV's in the queue and on the ride (though not in the pre-shows) with flatscreens. The ride itself was very rough and in need of some TLC
- Innoventions: Walked past The Great Piggy Bank Adventure, would of tried it but the line was incredibly long as were the lines for pretty much every exhibit in East & West. Maybe later in the week..
- Mexico: Forced myself to ride GFT, still miss El Rio Del Tempo in all its dated tackiness. I noticed that the side panels in the beginning tunnel were brightly lit. If I remember right, before the tunnel was completely dark except for the screen at the end.
- France: The Theater and Film need TLC ASAP. The theater seats have been completely beat to hell and the film (as has been the case for the last 10+ years) needs to be updated.

Interesting about the lights on SSE...They were lighting up a black curtain? That must have looked odd.

If I may, those lights may have been blacklights for the triangles. They're kinda just pointed up and forward so they're half pointed at the curtains and half at the triangles. Maybe Horizons is referring to other lights which I didn't see, but I do know that there are some blacklights in that area for the triangles.

Good to hear Innoventions was fairly busy. Looks like word is getting out about some of the new things in there. :)

EDIT: Why can't I see the pics? HELP!

Maybe they were blacklights, they were opposite the overhang from SSE '94. If they were blacklights they were awfully white in color.

Hopefully you can see the pics now.

Oh, over there... hm. I thought they were blacklights but now you've got me wondering a bit. I'm pretty sure they were blacklights though(they can seem a bit bright when you're up close to them. If you've ever been in the TTA, the night vision lights seem really bright when you're next to them, but then quickly dim as you move away.) I thought you meant over by the peppers ghost area in your post.

And I'm still not seeing the pics, but I think its a problem with Picasa and not the link; it looked fine.

It was in the peppers ghost area, so maybe it was just UV lights. I didn't focus too long on them so, don't read into my statement too much.I last visited in May 2008 and have really tried my best to keep up with the descent updates. However, it is a little hard to keep track of who mentioned what objects showing up by some curtains in a certain section of the descent. Get my drift?:animwink:

What are you talking about? That Epcot thread is only 300+ pages. ;) At this point who knows? Lets just say things still haven't drastically changed. Thanks for the update all the same!

Greetings everyone. Today I went to AK and had a blast as usual. I've got to say the park was looking great (I didn't visit Dinoland ). Crowds were pretty good. Not much to report on but, as we know, not much is going on at AK.
