Then it's probably safe to eat! Here in the states they can lie about a food on the front of a package and then they must tell certain truths on the back. How the walking going?
Burning a groove around our resrvoir every day. Takes about an hour (hour 10 in flip flops) to do the 2 1/2 mile route

Woo hooo just noticed it's page 88 :D

Good Morning Loves!
Figgy glad to hear your feeling GREAT! Missed everyone around here! Feeling good and eating well the past few weeks. Most of my continuing Yoga Educations is done for the year! YAY ME!! LOL! I am tired but grateful! Having almost 2 full time jobs, training, and trying to keep a family life is not an easy task but, I don't have to tell you all this. You all have full plates.

I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Sandra Amrita McLanahan when I was at Yogaville. If anyone is interested about learning how a vegan diet can reduce and reverse the horrible effects of heart disease and diabetes check out some of here work. Just give here a google, she is a very interesting woman. She is linked both to Dr. Dean Ornish and Dr. Oz.

Now..did I hear @real mad hatter has gout?? Gosh I hope you feel better!! My apologies to all, I have not read the whole thread yet.

Today I started with 20 minutes meditation and 60 minutes of vinyassa flow, tonight I teach 2 classes.
For breakfast I am drinking 1 avacado with coconut water and pineapple. Lunch will be a kale salad with nutritional yeast, sesame seeds, chia seeds, tomato, cucumber, blacked olives and chick peas. I found a fantastic balsamic that I cut with bit of cocunut water and viola. I am not sure what dinner is, I will probably drink it, I will be on the run!

To everyone, have a great day and be all that you want to be!

Thanks for getting me to do some of Shiva Rea's practices. I'm a beginner-intermediate at yoga at best, but it's the journey not the destination that's important. I'm not the most flexible of creatures, but it does help to get the old bones moving. LOL Yes great link and we should also mention the works by Dr. Neal Barnard and Dr. Joel Fuhrman. Their books have helped me clean up my diet a bit, and I can't believe how much just getting my dh to eliminate most of his meat consumption has helped with his blood pressure.

The weird thing is DW has lowered her carb consumption and kept with the meat and has had the same effect o_O

GOOD MORNING WDWMAGIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today is off to a good start!!!!!! 5 indoor miles done and another of Shiva Rea's More Daily Energy practices. The dvd has 7 pre-set practices so seeing the library loans dvds for a week I'm going to do a different one each morning. No rain for today so I'm hoping to get out with the sun and get around my lake twice today. Not so much for the exercise (I need it LOL) but to watch the subtle changes between summer and fall. The baby deer are starting to lose their spots, the groundhogs are getting chubbier and the leaves are going to start changing soon. I'm hoping you have a wonderful day and are able to get outside to move.

Ok..Enough is enough..:banghead:....The baby deer are losing their spots ( that's adolescence for you, teenage acne ) And the Groundhogs are putting on the calories.?..( If only Elvis had written " You ain't nothin but a groundhog ) ...Over here in Scotland, things also change with the seasons..Summer is going out,and Autumn ( that's fall to you ) is coming in...The Haggis are getting hairier ( keeps them warm in the winter ) and the Badgers are losing their stripes..And of course Nessie is off to hibernate ( tourist season is over ) So today ill do a little exercise in my house as its dark and dull outside.I think the sun is hibernating also..:(

Good morning!! It's a very busy morning already here on top of my mountain. I did 5 miles with boosters (used a little heavier weight for @93boomer) and I did another pre=set yoga practice (really thinking about buying this one) My little guy is back from his week at grandma's. I really missed him. He's quite the little gardener (Behind the Seeds was worth every penny) so he went down to help grandma with her garden. (he's also quite the little suck up or helper depending on the day) My mil had hip replacement in the spring so she still needs a little help now and then. Like I said busy day!!! I'm going out to walk with the sun, and when I get back I have tons to do around the house. Starting with cooking. Today I'm making falafel, salad (green beans, cukes ,tomatoes, yellow squash and what ever else is ready to pick) with romaine and arugala, couscous, tabouli, and hummus. My dog needs a bath:rolleyes::eek::mad::arghh:. My puppy's a sweetie but you'd think she's part cat when the water comes on. I'm going to find some time to slow down today if it kills me. LOL I want to do some twisting and detoxing. I always feel better after one of those practices. I'm hoping all of you have a magical holiday weekend, and for those on the other side of the pond, tough luck too bad, you gotta work Monday! LOL Take care and be safe xoxo
