Take it easy!!!!!!!!! LOL coming from the person covered in icy hot.o_O No, no I'm feeling much better today and the goo was more as a precaution! Got my 10 indoor miles in but go out will depend on the weather, it's 33 here and not sure if I want to walk in the cold with a very MINOR issue!

What happened to the weather?? It was blustery and cool yesterday!! Did get my walk in though. Needed it after the stress of family luncheon but that's another story( not my DH or DD).
Today is sunny and 48. Hoping it gets warmer but the rest of the week is upper 70s and 80s!!
Walking and getting out when it warms up!!

@RedDad you might just get in good enough shape if you grab Jillian Michael's ripped in 30. It won't cure all your problems but you might just make it through your trip in one piece. Good luck and get moving!
Ha! I'm not too concerned about getting ripped - I've actually dropped about 10 lbs in the last few months without really doing anything...If I could loose another 10 I'd be down to my highschool weight!

I used to be fairly active, playing soccer once a week, and running once or twice a week as well, but haven't done much in the last year. I'm thinking about getting one of those treadmill desks so I can walk while I work! Sitting is killing me!

My DH understands the sitting at a desk!! His tummy started, let's say growing a wee bit, over the winter. We do walk and workout but it was still there. So, we cut out sweets, soft drinks, bad fats, and started eating fresh veggies, whole grains, and limiting calories and portion sizes. It worked!! He lost weight and tightened up doing these simple things.
You might try just cutting out some of those high calorie foods during the week and see how it does for you. Good luck!! Don't get frustrated with yourself either. It requires some patience:)

My problem isn't soft drinks or even sweets so much as eating junk (fast food) for lunch. It's just too easy to run down to BK instead of packing something healthy. Could be why I'm already on meds for high cholesterol at the ripe old age of 34!

I wasn't suggesting getting it for getting ripped but for building up your endurance. It's a mix of cardio and weights but adding a little lean muscle will improve your metabolism and the cardio mix will help with that and endurance! Good luck getting in shape for Disney.

Good morning Just finished 2 hours of aerobics and getting ready for breakfast. Some salad and blueberry muffins should hit the spot. With just over 3 weeks to go I'm going to start cleaning out my freezer so lunch and dinner will be a salad and a meal I have frozen! Have a great day and keep moving forward!

Oh yeah. That is probably right. Totally understand. When I worked, I used to do that too. Never took lunch to work. But, it finally adds up and makes us miserable.
Good luck and don't give up! Keep active and it will come off:)

Good morning!! Sunshine and getting warmer today!! Feeling good today!! Did my 3.5 mike walk last night plus the bike. Getting used to the bike every day. Takes some getting used to the seat.:)
Walking and stretching today plus house cleaning.
Having granola with nonfat Greek yogurt and fresh strawberries for breakfast. Lunch is turkey wrap with hummus and kale. Dinner is a big salad.
Have a great day!!
