Hello,

I am in with an upper body workout. This is it, in case anyone is looking for an upper body workout with a touch of cardio. It's on YT, so it's free (yay!). :)

I feel like consistent workouts and my light box are helping me. I am still craving carbs, but not as badly as I was about 3 weeks ago. :)
I love youtube when I get into an exercise rut:joyfull: I have to look into getting a light box

@Sans Souci now that you have a local Wegman's check out their loose tea. My favorite is the apple pie one as it helps keep carb cravings away in winter:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull::joyfull::joyfull: The one and maybe only good thing about cold weather is I enjoy a cup of chai instead of coffee

I found some Pumpkin Spice Rooibos at Trader Joe's. I usually have it at night since it's caffeine free and I like to make it a part of my "settle down" routine at night. But I think I will drink it through out the day. This is the only time of year I crave sweets. :(

I got mine at Costco and at the time, my husband's then-employer's cafeteria plan reimbursed him for it. It also releases negative ions. I have a love seat in my bed room and I have stacked up some moving boxes (we have no shortage of those!) and I put it on there. The light needs to hit your eyes from above. It's supposed to trick your brain into thinking it's daylight and pump out those brain chemicals. :)

Today is a planned day of rest in my calendar.

I am getting my house ready. My mom is flying in from Chicago tonight. Tomorrow is my son's birthday and she wanted to surprise him. I've been cleaning and I am probably going to bake my son's birthday cake later. :)

And locally produced honey is most beneficial to you. I don't have all the deets on this, but I've ready about people with certain allergies that can be helped by eating some honey. But it has to be their own local honey as the local bee pollen is the key ingredient, and can help boost your immunity.
Yes it does work. My DD has been taking local honey for over two years for seasonal pollen allergies and it helps tremendously. She picks it up at the local farmer's market.

Good morning 5 LS miles done and my group isn't going out today.:( I'm hoping to doesn't get too slippery, we're getting anything from a light mix changing to rain or 2 inches of carp depending on which weather person(AKA guy just guessing)you believe. I'm making a pot of hot and sour soup as soon as everybody leaves:)

Do you live in a high elevation? We're just getting rain down here.

My mom is napping in my work out space. :banghead: I am trying to find an alternate place to workout. I don't think there's a ton of high impact moves in my workout today, so I might be able to move all of my weights upstairs and workout in my bedroom.

I still have to frost my son's birthday cake. He asked for a molasses spice cake. :cautious: If nothing else, it's seasonal. It's just not what I think of when I think "birthday cake." My house smelled really good while it baked, though.

Thank you! We are driving down. Only 10-11 hrs depends on traffic and stops. I have a pre-trip called- Yayyy here we go -in trip reports if you want to follow. :)

Hope you have a great trip and safe drive. I don't know which way you go, but if you go I-85/285/675/75 etc, be warned there is construction at the 675/75 merge and the first couple of exits on down. We got through there early in the morning but there was a brief backup. On the way back we took back roads past Macon, up through Monticello to Madison and Athens etc to avoid it...took a little longer, but was a more scenic trip and Madison is a lovely little town worth stopping and stretching your legs and seeing some of the old homes etc...
