Working for Disney

My significant other and I have been discussing which would be better:
1. Working for the Walt Disney Company and growing within their organization, climbing the corporate ladder, possible moving around the country
or
2. Working at Disney World, finding a niche job and remain in the shadows

Would both of these be at Walt Disney World? Because working your way up could take some time. There are a lot of candidates for leadership and you pretty much have to be golden the higher you get. Just a dose of reality in the magical kingdom.

you have to be really driven & career-focused to success in the disney hierarchy. there are a lot of CMs who love staying in an hourly position, even after they hit the pay ceiling, so they can work with guests. if you're happy in your role than you are stressing over the corporate ladder, that's an important factor. personally, i think the overtime pay helps make a big difference with hourly roles, too.
