1. I'm surprised it accepted your first word... only one online dictionary has it as an entry and says it's an obsolete spelling variant.
2. I guess this shows that on hard mode, it will allow you to use a revealed letter in the wrong position in the wrong position again.

I don't know how some of these words get past the Wordle "filter". I've had a couple "borderline, but I think they're legit words" get bounced because they aren't in the word list.It's a good thing the secret word wasn't LONGE... I'd never guess that!
No offense to anyone who uses a sketchy word.
