Believe it or not, I am not making that one up. I don't know if you aware of Cockney Rhyming slang, but it is real. The slang words are composed of a pair of related words, the second word rhymes with the real word for which the slang is representing.

For example - "Apples" is slang for "Stairs". The logic being "Apples and Pears", Pears rhymes with stairs!
