( To apple pie someones bed is to fold the sheets into a pocket style and they cant get into bed properly or if your lucky they are so vigorous they put their foot through the sheet.) it happened a lot in my dorm.:D

I think that's what we called "short-sheeting" back at summer camp!

Yes, a neophyte can be defined in one sense as a "rookie", or a "recruit".

Going with ROOKIE!, I'll say:

First
(Because rookies are starting out in a business, everything is new and is a FIRST to them!)
