Woohoo! Wdw Dvd Came Today!!!

yea, with my luck it would get ripped off. anyway, i picked up the DVD and im waiting PATIENTLY, VERY VERY PATIENTLY for my fiancee to come home to watch it with her...lol

i know the videos are different depending on the age, im curious to see what is on our dvd. I know i ordered 3 with different ages, and like a dummy i forogt to write which name i used for which. Which Witch is Which.

Anyway, ill give a review later. Im already happy and excited! WOO HOOOOOO!

I agree though, this video does evoke feelings that i only feel when in disney. Its like some other sensory things, ie. when i smell the "water" smell in the rides that contain water and im out and about doing things. I immediately think of WDW. There are a few other things that remind me of WDW.

I got my DVD today too. It is great! It has a lot of extra information that the Video didn't have.

uh oh, i see what i did...

okay, so i get the dvd and i look at it in awe..jk..and see this at the bottom: DVD-FAM or vice versa.

So i think to myself....could this be the family dvd?

YES IT IS! No annoying guy, lots of cute kids saying the funniest things (made my fiancee and i say: "i cant wait to take our kids, when we have them")

Anyway, i kinda like the guy, hes funny, but he can get annoying sometimes.

okay, so heres my review:

Magic Kingdom, very little on Haunted Mansion, and little or no mention of the indy speedway, and stuff like that.

Epcot: No mention of anything other than test track in future world! Mostly focused on the countries

Animal Kingdom: Tons of stuff for the kids. Focus on the shows, and believe it or not: Dinosaur!

Disney Studios: No mention of the backstage tour, mostly parades and stuff. No mention of the great movie ride. They did show rocknrollercoaster and tower of terror. Other than that.......

This video is obviously directed to families and children. Downtown Disney which usually has its own section was mentioned only briefly. If I find more things, I will keep everyone posted!

I was very pleased with the DVD, and hope to receive more and more of them!!! Obviously with different content!

Geez, I just got mine, and now I find out there is more versions? Mine says DVD-MLR-PRE on the label. The pirates footage looked very old. Not sure if thats how they wanted it or not, but I saw a man chasing a woman, so it must be old.

It looks grainy on purpose, to look like a classic movie. But the footage in it is very old.

Heh, I don't think I remember even seeing the hand over Spaceship Earth on the video, they should probably take new footage. Is it real expensive? And why can't they use new sound effects (like crowd sounds), why don't they put the actuall sound of the crowd rather than some over used sound. I've heard them in Roller Coster Tycoon way too many times already.

They have footage of the hand over SE. This makes it interesting since they aren't showing with the hand anymore, but they have in the past three years videos.

i think the PRE____ is for the younger crowd and i think the older crowd gets the POST____

anyway, glad we are getting the dvds now!

Well for now they're free. But if everyone tries to order every possible version they have, Disney will eventually start charging for these. And that would be unfortunate.
