So, we all know that it's been closed for quite some time and is basically just sitting there as a waste of space in the dark corners of Epcot. As there are currently no known plans of WDI revamping this area and turning it into something awesome again, what do you all want to see it turn into?

I'd personally like to have it stick with the same theme, just... massively refurbished. :p

It is such a waste of space. From what I saw on video on Youtube everything inside remains the same. It should be updated and reopened with the same kind of theme. Make it a fun learning experience for kids adding a Wall-E meet and greet and characters from Meet the Robinsons. Make it more futuristic inside like your are being transported into the future.

Yes that would great, With so many things they could also do with some unused movies from Pixar, they could have an Incredibles attraction.

I would love it if they put Who Wants To Be A Millionare Play It in there, that was one of the best attractions eva.

The Wonders of Life Pavillion is one of my biggest beefs at WDW and I think is a good microcosm of what I see as declining quality at WDW. It's prime real estate and they could literally do so much with it. Even if all they could do was revamp the rides at bit at the current time would be something I could live with rather than letting a perfectly good space go to rot. :( It's the same with the Sounds Dangerous building over at DHS albeit on a smaller scale. Some of the infrastructure is already there...so hey, at least they would save on some cost. But again no, they just leave it to sit dead and pretty much let it fall into disrepair.

If I had a "wish" I would love to wonders of life totally revamped with new attractions. The body is so darn cool! I just think of so much they could do to make fun but still informative attractions like say Cranium Command was. And obviously other forms of like could be incorporated too.. I would love to see WALL-E make an appearance as someone else suggested.

I think Wall-E would work.. but not like Nemo at the Living Seas. I don't want to see a 15 minute bland recap of the movie when I enter the building.

I remember seeing old sketches of future world pavilions that never came to be on martinsvids.net. There was going to be one pavilion about the natural resources that we use today or something. Maybe that idea could be brought back at the Wonders of Life pavilion?

Inside, there could be a recreation of a future base from the Wall-E movie, like something that was made after the movie when the people came back to Earth, and they are finding new ways of locating natural resources for humans to use. I know that scientists today are trying to find ways to mine asteroids and comets. You know, something futuristic like that to put in FUTURE WORLD. lol... Can you imagine the awesome rides that could come from that theming?!

I agree with all of the above but since TDO will not foot the bill and requires a sponsor (in lieu of sinking their own corporate dollars in) this would be a hard sell. The weak global economy makes it tough to sell an "advertisement" that a very small portion of the marketplace will be exposed to. Yes there are millions of people through Epcot but that is still very little bang for the buck. They would have to capture a corporation who is very pro-active in the marketplace.

I too am sad that the building sits as a sad testament to what should have been.

It is a little sad, every time I am near UOE I look down towards it and it seems a great shame it gets so little use... am I right in thinking they still use it for events though?

You are correct, they use the space during The Flower & Garden Festival, as well as The Food & Wine Festival. They also use the theater from The Making of Me to show seminars. Last I heard, a part of Cranium Command has been removed, and the state of Body Wars is unknown.

Isn't that topic kinda covered during Ellen's Energy Adventure?

I think your idea is pretty interesting otherwise, though! :D

Body Wars was gutted for parts. Some went to Star Tours, others are going to Test Track...

I still stay that the Edutainment can still be utilized in that pavillion with WEATHER..Science & Industry in chicago really did a great job taking that concept and if they gutted the interior and made it look like this it would be pretty neat. And I'd still go for a 40ft Indoor torando as a centerpiece.....I don't care if Universal has done it for TWISTER: Ride it out but be able to walk through it is pretty neat..

I'd also move Storm Struck from Innoventions and Also Bring TDS Storm Rider to the pavillion and Use Cranium command with Buzzy as a Storm Tracker 4D based attraction.

Thanks! My suggestion about what to put it would focus more about mineral deposits and materials that people find in the natural world to build things rather than about energy resources in Ellen's Stupid Judy ride. But I can see how my idea can sorta be similiar to UoE. :)

How about the WoL pavilion becomes a place that continues on from the UoE? It would be kinda neat to see a new storyline take place in UoE, and then guests move on over to the WoL pavilion to interact with elements from the UoE story about energy and minerals.

I love this idea. I just think it's a shame that they're not doing anything with it at the moment and there's so much they could be doing.
