From Disney's operational update site.

Epcot ®
Wonders of Life is currently opening December 18 - 31, 2004.

Body Wars is currently opening December 18 - 31, 2004.

The Making of Me is currently opening December 18 - 31, 2004.

I think I'll have to make a trip just to go in one last time.

Cranium Command was never listed individually on the schedule site. Not sure if that's because it's closed for good or because it's just included in the generic "Wonders Of Life will be open/is seasonal" info.

Holy Hypothaulamous! I might just make multiple December visits to Epcot just for this. . .

-- and Cranium Command better darn be opened!

Thanks, Disney, for planning to reopen Wonders of Life. We can only hope you reconsider closing it for good -- what you're doing (seasonal/closing it) is making a lot of your fans upset.

This would be the time for EVERYONE to get a video of Cranium Command. That show is so great! I hope they actually find a replacement for the pavilion, instead of just leaving it to rot. I wouldn't mind WOL being replaced, but PLEASE MOVE CRANIUM COMMAND somewhere else, where it can actually be open! (Like Imagination, or Innoventions at Disneyland, or SOMEWHERE!)

Anybody know if by chance it will be open January 6th-10th? I wouldn't want to miss that!!!

*Ends sarcasm*
I sure hope it will be! I'll be down there at that time as well, and I sure hope we'll be able to see everything in there one last time.

Why are they only doing it the 18-31?!? You think they would do it starting the end of this month through New Year's. The reasoning behind my thoughts is they've got the MVMCP through the 17th if I remember correctly. Because of that, they will see higher numbers then too, just not "peak" numbers. I'm leaving the 4th as well and would love to be able to get some pictures and video in there, knowing it might be my last time for good.

Are they doing this to test crowd numbers again to see if it's worth opening anymore or just take it down (or sit and rot) for years before doing anything with it? I'm hoping they learn something from those of us who love this pavillion and want it opened back up!

Wow...it's actually kind of both sad and off to think that we are preparing to see the 'death' of this thing. Not so much as the pavilion itself, but the atmosphere that tic reated and what was offered inside. I won't be going until February so I highly doubt I have a chance, but atleast I got photos of the closed outside last year and have memories and a small video taken inside the pavilion with my family back in 1996. That's the memories I will cherish, and if it is open for what ever reason [HAH! Yeah Right] I will take full advantage of it.

So I hope anyone who gets to see it has a great time and can take photos and videos! :p

I do hope something good can come out of the wonders of life pavilion. Wether it be a new 21st century look at anatomy, or maybe a weather or new carousel of progress pavilion, I hope something fresh and new can come out of a pavilion that has seen better days and can hopefully see even more better days in a whole enw way down the road. :sohappy:

Yay! Wonder if Grizz is crawling up in a corner rocking, muttering "3 weeks... 3 weeks... I can't last for 3 weeks..."

Cool, they were shut down when I went in May, but I'm gonna be down there on the 17th to the 21st so looks like I'll get to see them.

It's all about money.

They need it to be open a certain amount of days each year to keep it as a tax write-off.

Opening it for Christmas will help thin the crowds a bit, but that is just a side effect, not the intent.
