Has WoL always had that ceiling design or was it something different before? I really don't remember.
It wasn't noticed because our main focus in the building was not the ceiling. Imagine that, we didn't spend the time looking up specifically at the ceiling.
Yes, it was always like that. Except it used to be illuminated.

I don't seem to remember any particular focal point and the illumination was more for the sky/tent top affect to bring out the bright colors of the circus like area below. Anyway, if I noticed the ceiling it was mostly just when I rolled my eyes up while passing the "Making of Me" area.:oops::rolleyes:
As the Father of two young girls it was inevitable that when they left the theater the first thing they were going to ask was... I understand what happens in the exchange thing, but, HOW does that happen? The only logical answer that a Father can possibly give is "Go ask your Mother!"

Imagine that, maybe that is why they stopped sponsoring the place. I never remember seeing that at all.

Disney has a lot of interesting ceilings, light fixtures and even murals. Most guests just simply don't look up, as you said. But many should :) But I know what you were trying to say about the Wonders ceiling. Even though guests don't always look up, shouldn't excuse poor show. But we also jump the gun in assuming work is finished ... Personally, I always tend to "look up and around". I notice black walls I probably shouldn't, or lackluster decor on the ceiling (both in the Mermaid ride). It's not the end of the world but I wish they'd have done a little better. First world problems and all that ;) lol. We all see things differently. We all have things that bother us that don't bother or matter to someone else.

And from the looks of the most recent picture, they fixed the problem so there was no "bad show" at all. You have to wonder why people are so quick to judge things when they don't have a clue what is going on and what is planned. I do know about the ceilings, but, that one for some reason escaped my notice. Probably because of it underwhelming nature as a billboard. I do remember the ceiling in the land and the moving balloons, but, for the life of me that is what I saw, I could not begin to tell you what the rest of the ceiling looked like. And I shouldn't notice because if they did it right it should blend right in with whatever focal point they decided to use.
