WL or GF Concierge?

Both are nice, but I would imagine most people would say WL. I guess I would agree with them. I have stayed at both hotels and find the Grand Floridian a little stuffy. Its beautiful and has the monorail, but I like the look and feel of the WL better. Also I thought the walls were paper thin at the GF. I could here the people next store very well. Could also here there tv crystal clear too. So in that regard I was disappointed. However the Grand Floridian cafe was a hidden gem. Most people don't know about it, but I thought the food was great. Even if you stay and the WL check it out. Have a great trip.

I would choose Wilderness Lodge. Their concierge level feels more like home to me. You feel very relaxed. At Grand Floridian, even though its just as good, doesnt give off a welcome home vibe. Plus, WL concierge has an amazing view on the top floor of the lobby. Both are very different choices.

Have an amazing time!

We've stayed at WL twice, and we love it. That's why we booked it again. When these awesome AP rates came out, it gave us a chance to maybe step it up a bit.

I should also mention we have 3 kids, including twin 2 year olds. Not sure if that's a plus for the GF or a negative.

I would say WL but if you've never been to GF then perhaps that would be a better option.

GF is a nice resort. I've not sayed there but I have stayed in the DLP version (and it's VERY similar). I felt a little uncomfortable at first but that went away after a couple of hours.

Both hotels are great so your not going to go wrong either way.

I love the Grand Floridian! It's my favorite WDW resort. The WL is beautiful but I don't care for the theme in Florida. That just holds no appeal to me.

We enjoy being on the monorail route...I see the lines for the WL boat from MK and cringe. That alone could keep us away from staying WL.

The GF is VERY kid friendly. My daughters have always been made to feel like princesses there. And the CMs really enjoy the kids....they also offer many child "adventure" activites at the Grand so seeing kids all over the resort is a common thing.

We've stayed at the GF many many times and have never had a less than fantastic time. I can't comment on WL as we've only visited, but the service and super CMs have kept us returning to the Grand.

You can find a lot of GF info here

Enjoy your trip - wherever you wind up staying. It's all magical!

Such a tough decision. I look at pics and reviews of both. Of course, I know what's great about WL having stayed there.

Pros for WL:
I like the theme better.
I like the look of the rooms better.
I like the look of the Concierge better.
We know our kids will be welcome there.
Everything is under 1 roof.
Bunk beds.

Pros for GF:
Rooms are larger.
Monorail.
Although the theme does nothing for me, it's nice to have palm trees all around you while in Florida.
I read you get very pampered there.
