Saturday to Saturday... full week...

going to be so nice...

5:30 flight tomorrow morning though... not so nice...

gotta leave the house at like 3...

i haven't been sleeping well all week either, so i cannot wait until tomorrow night to be in (i basically have my own hotel room... the villa is split so my room could be rented out seperately) a comfy bed with the ocean right outside my window... we have an ocean view room... and the hotel literally sits no more than 100 feet from the water...

ohhhhhhh man...

PLUS... i'll have free internet access down there... so i can check in from time to time!!! :)

Well, now I know two people gone from Idol I didn't want to know about. :ROFLOL:

I tried to avoid it so well last night. Found out one last night...and one when I got online here today.

Darn WHF for making me wait...and darn him for getting home late so we couldn't watch it.

Hi everyone. busy day so I can't stay long.

I think I have a pinched nerve. I've never had one before... but for about three weeks I have this pain that starts at the base of my skull, goes around my shoulder blade, through my elbow and to my pinky. My right pinky has been numb off an on for a while now. :(

DH and I didn't get home until 9:45 :hammer:. But we watched Idol in fastfarward and stopped at the parts in which they were announcing who left. THEN we watched Lost. Man, I'm tired!
So, who do you know got booted off Idol?

I have never watched Idol, except for the rejects they like to blast all over the 11 o'clock news. Just not my thing I guess.

Have you talked to a doctor about it Kat?

I called my primary care physician this morning (I know... I probably should have done something sooner...). The office manager told me she'd ask him if I need to make an appointment with him or if he could refer me to someone who deals with this more. I'm waiting to hear back. Someone said I should see a chiropracter, but I have my reservations. I know a lot of people who go to a chiropracter (it almost seems like the thing to do down here...); but it sounds like it's like dying your hair. Once you start doing it, you feel the need to keep going back, and I just don't want to get into a rut of dishing out money for that every month or so.

True, but don't rule it out. I've only been to a chiropractor once myself (for my back), but he did help. I'd rather do that than be prescribed a med that masks symptoms but doesn't correct them.
I would imagine any chiropractor that's any good would be able to correct that. JMO

OT: the snow has covered the road now. :(

Thanks Jenny. I'm more open minded about it now after reading your experience. We'll see what my doctor says. He usually does not like prescribing medication unless it's absolutely necessary, so he just may suggest I go the chiropracter route.

Are you driving today? Be careful!!

I'm supposed to pick the kids up today, but I'm not sure how the new van would handle the driveway. See, when we buy a car, it has to pass our 'driveway test' - this means we can pull in or back down our driveway without any part of the underside scraping. Our van will pull in and back down without a problem, but I cannot go down the driveway frontways without some kind of scrape :dazzle:. And there is NO way I am backing down that driveway if it's covered. So Mike might have to take extra time out from work to get the kiddos. We'll see.

How's your weekend looking, Kat? Yay for Friday! :sohappy::sohappy:

Yikes!

I know! I'm so excited for the work week to be over! I'm taking a friend to Pancake Pantry--a Nashville favorite among locals. They have AMAZINg sweet potato pancakes, which sound odd, but they are SO good! I was also thinking about going to an Irish festival on Saturday, but with a high of 36, I think we may pass. Sunday our small group is throwing a surprise diaper shower for one of our group members. Hopefully she'll like that.

What about you Jenny? What do you have planned?

Not much - DH is working, and I'll be doing laundry and watching the snow fall. I think we're under a storm warning till 7 tomorrow night. I'm just thankful he only works about 5-10 minutes away.

Pancake pantry sounds like an awesome place. Joel would love it, probably, as long as he could drench something in syrup.

Oh, and random Disney statement: exacatly three months from today, we are checking into Ft. Wilderness!! :sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:
