Bowling alley...it was my great-niece's birthday. She had invited several school friends as well, so it was loud. Plus Joel didn't understand that he had to leave the bowling balls alone. It was one of those situations where I tensed up the moment we walked in and couldn't wait to get out of there.

I just took a wonderful walk along the river...glorious!
I had to tiptoe between the goose droppings (blasted birds!) but glorious nonetheless!

We have mourning doves. They're busy scouting out nesting places now.
And black birds...yes. Those too.

The black birds come in the hundreds. The city of SA want to scare them off. They make a big big mess of the river walk.:zipit:

The geese are the biggest problem around here. There are so many! :dazzle:
And we have a pair of mallards that take up residence in our pool as soon as the cover comes off. They nest nearby and swim around in the pool like they own it. Once the pool opens for us to use, they have no qualms about diving in with us. It takes a bit of effort for us to reclaim it.

John Denver...that was a sad ending.

I'm not doing much today. I've been working in Photoshop and checking in here mostly. That's why I decided to go out and walk. It was the first really enjoyable walk I've taken in ages. I can really feel Spring in the air!
