Wishing It Was Spring Already with Magic Friends

Yeah right.
I remember how you say Connor...
Cahnah.

I love it!
That's weird. :lookaroun
Back to the story...
Yesterday while I was waiting for the parade, I made friends with all the little kids around me. One little girl's name was Nicole. I got all excited and told her that was my name. She didn't seem as thrilled to share my name. :lookaroun Then there were these two adorable brothers in front of me. So cute. Well, one of their names turned out to be Connor. Scary, no? :lookaroun I was surrounded by little versions of us!
Did Conor look like he was plotting?
That's great.
I loved how the guy in the video from last night said water.
We say water the RIGHT way.
Long E -in.
EEEin
Is that the same as the letter E-in?
But the I sounds a bit like an A.
We're a small state - no room for 26 letters, so something had to go!
Why not Q?

See, I have no idea what you just said.
But...
Ian...EEEin.
If you pronounce Ann the way I do, it sounds somewhat, but not exactly like that.
I do not pronounce Ann as I do the verb "can".

I know. It is so sad.
Double negatives...Seen for saw.
I don't know how I wound up with him. :lookaroun
I don't know how you stayed with him. :lookaroun
(What is it with people and double negatives?!)
I pick up on accents.
When I'm at the ranch, I'll start speaking, er, western?
I don't know the proper term for that.
If I'm around British people, I'll start speaking in their proper tone.
One of my good friends lives in Texas...now she has me saying y'all.
Back in the day (meaning, last year...) I was trained for Forensic performances.
Most accents come easily to me, British (London and Cockney? I think) and Irish.

I pronounce Ian the way you do, but Ann rhymes with can (the verb or the noun)

With him, he's just so used to saying it the wrong way.
When he stops and thinks he knows what's right.
He does a lot of public speaking and he does it well...but he has to work at it.

How cool.
Too bad we can't hear it.
