Update on my friends' baby: They were going to start the surgery this morning at 7:30, and had decided to do the less invasive of the 2 options and then once she was older, if she still was needing it, they would go back in and do the open-heart. My boss just called, she just spoke to her, and they are now doing the open-heart. I don't know how long she's been in surgery before they made this decision, but her little 9-day old body is going through alot right now. Major prayers please for her little heart...

Oh wow...definitely prayers headed your way.

I know, that countdown was so awesome. Duran Duran's 'Hungry like the Wolf' was #3 :sohappy::sohappy:. They also had Def Leppard's 'Pour Some Sugar on Me' - I loved listening to them in high school.

*go into a nostalgic coma* :lookaroun

Morning! My dad just got the results back from his first MRI since his latest liver surgery. No cancer! :sohappy::sohappy: He's having back pains and his oncologist said if that persists, they'll take an MRI of his lymph nodes, to see if it spread there. He said it's very unlikely, but with as serious of a condition as he had before, you can't be too careful. He'll have another MRI of his liver in a few more months. Last time, the cancer didn't visibly come back until about nine months afrter the surgery. I just hope it's gone for good this time!

((HUGS)) Kat - I'm sorry if I gave you some pain. :( That's wonderful news about your dad - I will continue to pray for him.

:ROFLOL:

to me, some of the music from the 80s was good, but others was like, what were they thinking?

Oh yeah :ROFLOL:Some of the videos were just downright stupid. But there were a lot of good classic rock bands during that time, despite my drift into British New Wave stuff. Not to mention it was the era of the Big Hairdo.

I'm that way with the clothes... and yet, I see some of the teens in our youth group wearing stuff I wore in the 80s. I DON'T GET IT!
Yes!!! The clothing in the 80s was awful! I hate that some of that ugly stuff from the 70s and 80s are making combacks. It's just like...ew!

Ah...now the hairdo, I can accomplish on my own probably. With curly hair, you can make it big easy!

Yep, the long shirts with the belts are back. These things seem circular, don't they? For a while there, it was the long straight hair and bell bottoms of the 70s all over again. Although the colors have improved somewhat since then - yay! Now it's the 80's stuff.
