I just got a phone call today from someone at church. She said her niece's daughter is somewhere on the spectrum, and her niece has been in denial up to this point, but they did some IQ testing and it was way low. I told her not to go on the basis of the school's IQ test, because they don't know how to test autistics. I encouraged her to take the little girl to a hospital for some independent testing and MAKE SURE her school is on board with IEPs and proper assistance. She is in first grade. doing good. Today is my youngest DD's BD. She is 10 today.:sohappy:

Good. My brother leaves for his WDW show choir trip today and I'm really wishing I would've gone along.

Wow! What a great way to start working! Our Teacher Appreciation is in May - we are providing a dessert buffet during the teachers' lunchtime. Actually it's for all staff, not just teachers.

They did a luncheon for us today, hand massages on Monday, and I think we get breakfast on Friday. Then one of my students gave each of her teachers 3 roses!

I haven't been on much today - Rick stopped by this afternoon. I had PTG meeting this morning, and because of sickness and other obligations by our co-presidents, guess who got to run the meeting? Me! :hammer: There were only three moms and two teachers there though, so it went OK I guess.
Hey Betty - want an opinion about my Fl trip in July. I am currently planning three nights off property and my final night at WL. However, for about $100 more I could do all four nights at POFQ and have Magical Express get me to/from the airport. I could rent a car from the Car Care Center for the conference also. Should I change my plans or keep them as they are?

That's a tough call Jenn, but I think I'd probably go with POFQ if you can swing it.
