It just doesn't fit into the budget...

Marc and I sat down and looked at our finances.. things are just getting SO expensive these days. Milk is running $3.60 for whole milk, eggs are now $3 a dozen.. And we're on only one income... our savings has been cut in half since I stopped working.

I know it's hard, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
You'll get there again. And when you do, Anastasia may be more able to appreciate it.
What you should try to do, is plan the trip as far in advance as you can, paying for it a little at a time. It makes it more real.

I'm not TOO upset about it. It's just depressing. Last year was a BIG expensive one for us, and we've got to take it light this year to hopefully recover a bit. We had to get a new fridge, fix the roof, put in a new water main pipe, Marc's grad school tuition...:dazzle:
