Where's the best spot to view Wishes? And how early do you have to get there to get a good spot? I remember having to claim a spot 3 hours before Remember... Dreams Come True in Disneyland.

We had a good spot on the bridge to Tomorrowland, we just happened upon it...really didn't wait too long.

IMO the best spot is in the middle of Main Street right between Caseys Corner and the Ice Cream Shop. No need to get there early, I show up 5 - 10 minutes before show time and have never had trouble getting a great spot in the middle of the street.

The Magic Kingdom does not have NEARLY the same problems as Disneyland has for Remember...it's craziness there! They have smaller walkways and since only Disneyland has fireworks, everyone packs in there in the evening. For Wishes, though, you can show up maybe 10-15 minutes early and grab my favorite spot--also b/t Casey's and the ice cream shop. If you get any closer, the castle blocks effects, so it's the closest you can get and still get a great view.

Where is Casey's and the Ice Cream Shop? At the beginning of Main Street? I've seen Spectro, but I wanna see it again. :)

If you stand in Main Street, will people's heads block your view?

Casey's Corner and the Ice Cream shop at the last two shops on Main Street before the hub near the castle. It's a great view, and I haven't had a problem with people blocking my view. You should be able to see everything fine, but if not, the tomorrowland bridge may be a secure bet if you can get on the left side of the bridge if you're facing tomorrowland, the side closer to the castle.

There are so many great spots, you almost can't go wrong. You certainly do not have to claim a spot 3 hrs in advance. Many people like to be close to the castle, which is a got spot, but you can also get a great view if you are down by the train station looking at Cinderella Castle.

Been there. Got a spot on the rail 5 minutes before it began.

Another good spot is near the Walt/Mickey statue, but we got there early to get seats for that and we watched Spectro from there.

Casey's Corner and the ice cream shop are also good viewing spots for spectro. And for wishes, we've often watched it from the gardens on the right side of the hub, near the Tomarrowland bridge. We watched it there during Spring Break '05 and there weren't to many people in that area.

My favourite spot is right next to the statue of Walt. It may be a "little too close" to the castle, but it's still my favourite.

I generally get there about 15 minutes or so before the fireworks. If you want a bench though, you'd have to get there probably about 30 to 45 minutes earlier. Honestly though, you have to stand anyway during the fireworks so getting a bench isn't much worth it.

I have always had to get any place good about an 1.5 hours prior. You want to sit where you can hear the music and see the show from straight on. The pyro is designed to explode around and above the Castle as if you were looking at it from Main Street.
I took a specialty cruise last week and we were in the Lagoon and the view was a little far but was right in the middle. It was really nice and kinda romantic... but also $250.

Absolutely agree. The show is designed to be viewed from Main Street. As long as you dont need a seat you will not have to "camp out" really early.

And what a great excuse for picking up a Dog at Caseys or a cone at the Ice Cream Shop a few minutes before the show.:D
