There was a time where it was, for lack of better words, "policy" of Disney to showcase brands that were not main stream brands you could find anywhere, its too bad they have turned to bland brands you can find anywhere.
GE, RCA, Frito Lay, Kodak, GM...do you really want me to keep listing?

Disney's "policy" was always to work with who had the money. Let's be real.

Personally, I don't care who sponsors what. It may happen subconsciously, but I never go looking for something just because I saw their logo on a ride or attraction.

"Rockin' Roller Coaster was awesome! I'm gonna go buy some Hanes underwear!"

Said no one. Ever.
That's because you don't understand how advertising works. :)

Business management major, small business owner, worked retail and sales since I was 16...
I know how advertising works... I'm wearing Hanes boxers right now. LoL
My point there was that relevance helps in cases like that.
Unless you're implying you're gonna need clean bloomers after the ride.

What would make me even more upset is if those bland companies formed a club together, and had like a restaurant in the park and were silly and only allowed like 33 members.

In that case though if you like the ride you might be a Hanes t-shirt at the end of it.

I opted for the branded drum sticks, but nice try!
But that may be the grand scheme... Hanes makes the tagless tees Disney prints their stuff on...
And the wheel in the sky keeps on turning...

Well then, you must know that there is no such thing as bad advertising, except for your own obituary. :D

Funny -- I saw a "Wishes presented by Pandora" sign on the construction wall around the hub (just outside of Crystal Palace) a couple weeks ago, and thought "The online radio service is sponsoring a fireworks show -- how odd?"
