Wishes off-site?

Hello, all! I will be in the World starting on February 28th (aah! so close!), and I'm trying to plan my first day there. I will not be going to any parks, since I'm saving my park tickets for my full days there. I have scheduled dinner at AKL (first time at Boma!), but I was wanting to head over to the monorail resorts to see Wishes. Are there any places where you can see Wishes with the music piped in without having dinner reservations? Just curious!

In December, I watched Wishes from the veranda of Narcoosee at GF. The music was piped in and the view was very good. Although we did eat there, the exit to the veranda is from the lobby of Narcoosee, so I'm sure you can go out without dinner reservations. As an added bonus, the Electrical Water Pageant performance for GF started immediately after the end of Wishes the night we watched, so we got to see both.

I thought Id share this even tough it diesnt answer your question: During Illiminations this past December I was watching in the Japan Pavillion and noticed fireworks in the distance. I got to watch both Holiday Illuminations and Holiday Wishes simotaniousley(spelling?). That was a great experience!:xmas:

As for your question the places that come to mind as possibilities are the roof of the Contemporary and the beaches of GF and Poly.

I would park at DTD and use the resort transportation to bus to the Poly and catch the show from Poly's beach. It offers a fantastic view.

I will say 'ditto' to the Poly beach! You don't have to be staying there or eating to park & watch the fireworks. The beach wasn't very crowded when I was there (in July!). Some areas have music piped in, I think closer to the dock. We were at the far end of the beach closest to the Grand Floridian and we couldn't hear any music. Great view of the Electric Water Pageant though!

The 4th floor observation deck at the Contemporary has the music piped in. Get there early and stand in front of one of the speakers, as sometimes they are not very loud.
