Hi All!

This is new since the last time we went to the World. The last I heard, the Wishes Dessert Party was extended to 1/2/10.

Is there any word on if this is going to be extended again?

Also - just assuming it will be - where do I find the times, prices, etc on this. How do I book?

I am horrible at searching at tried both wdwmagic and the waltdisneyworld site and could not find the info that I need.

Thanks!

Hey Steve.
I have a question about the New Years Eve dinner & dessert party that was just put up on the site as a possibility....
Since MK does the same schedule on both NYE and the night before (Dec. 30) is there any chance the dinner & dessert special party might be offered on Dec. 30 as well as NYE? If you find out, please let us know! Thanks!

Hi!

The price is $21.99 for Guests ages 10 and over and $11.99 for Guests ages 3 - 9. Park admission to Magic Kingdom Park is required.

It begins one hour before that night's Wishes.

call (407) WDW-DINE to make reservations.

More details are at http://www.wdwmagic.com/Dining/Wishes-Dessert-Party.htm

Let me know if you have any questions.

So pretty much you pay $22 for dessert?? That's a little nuts IMO.

we went to this event the last time we were in the world in sept. the desserts were amazing, not worth $22 a person, but what at disney is worth what you're paying?

just make sure there's not a party the night of the dessert party. we unknowingly booked the night of a halloween party and they gave us a hard time, saying we had to buy tickets for the halloween party also. eventually they let us into the halloween party for free, but we didn't partake in any of the stuff going on since we didn't pay for it.

I cant justify paying $22 for desert and a great view of fireworks. If you have a family of 4, you are paying close to $100 for desert (you can take that money and go to a MK resort and have a nice dinner with an even better of the fireworks (OHANA). I am fine watching the fireworks on Main Street USA for free.

At the moment its only on NYE - but the dessert party is always being tweeked, so you never know! I'll be sure to post if I get anymore info on it.

I thought the same thing when the price was $18/adult back in July. But we just had to try it and don't regret it. In our attempt to justify the cost, we ate a late lunch and designated the Dessert Party as our "dinner". Probably the one and only time we'll allow our kids to fill up on sweets until their hearts' (and tummies) content.

Any chance of getting into the dessert party?

Hi all! This is my first post though I've been reading the board for months in preparation for my December trip. My husband and I were so hoping to get into the Wishes dessert party on 12/12, 12/14, or 12/16 - but no openings. Does anyone have advice about a way we could go about getting in? Are walk-ups a possibility? Could the parties be completely reserved by large gatherings that week? Thank you in advance! :xmas:

We did the dessert party in August. It sounded like a great idea at first. Then after eating just 1 of almost everything, you feel very sick. Not to mention that it was 95 degrees out that night. If I had a chance, I would not do it again.
