Wishes and HEA Returns (for cast appreciation)

Imagine Remember Dreams Come True but instead of the amazing E ticket in the Sky Portion, you get more of characters giving their wishes (including Homer the Genie) to a lackluster pyro package on par with Mix Magic and with only minimal lighting effects (with the exception of the Sorcerer Mickey portion that admittedly looked great.)

I really, really, don’t get the fondness for Wishes. I went to MK at night back them excited to see Specto and ride rides, Wishes was just an extra show bonus but inferior in every way to every other night show back then (Fantasmic, Illuminations and Spectro)
Wishes was better than the normal version of FitS (not the NYE one we get) and HEA was better than Wishes for me. DE broke the trend.

I agree but that poster referenced DL, and pretty much every modern Disneyland show (except Mix Magic which is clearly worse, and Believe in Holiday Magic which is slightly worse) is head and shoulders better then Wishes.

I was surprised when Wishes premiered, basically a spiritual successor to Believe…There’s Magic in the Stars because I thought Believe…was better.

I always referred to Wishes as "Snoozes" because that's exactly the feeling it invoked.

That transition to Wishes had me in tears. In some ways i'm glad I wasn't there, not sure how I would hide my state of absolute emotional disrepair.

I seen mickey-shaped fireworks at the end of special Cast member celebration fireworks (below) as well as regular Enchantment show, although not same as Mickey-shaped fireworks seen in Disneyland Forever (or any other firework shows at Disneyland). It was something unexpected at the time.

Oh wow, the rare mickey shells did actually make a return!! They haven't been seen since the 4th of July shows years ago iirc.

From tonight's DE:

Put bows on the MK ones and they are a regular Part of the new Christmas show.

That's so cool! I "wish" they would show this before Enchantment or even have an After Hours event dedicated to past attractions/shows. That would be a huge hit! I especially love the 25th Anniversary castle cake projection! I've always had an affinity for it and I loved the projection during Magic, Memories, and You! It would be so cool to have different castle projections throughout the night during the 50th Celebration - castle cake, maybe other castles from other parks or movies.
