So the big day has come.... the main reason of my job: the "Expo Feria del Comercio" (Expo Fair of Commerce -?-), the biggest expo in the southeast of Mexico opens today, thursday the 27th, at 6pm, and the inauguration will be at 8pm by our governor.

I have been stuck for 18 hours a day at the Convention Centre supervising the setting of the 280 booths of al kinds of merchandise and services. I am very stressed and busy, but I love it! Too bad (and a relief at the same time) it only lasts until sunday, when I will hopefully be back to the forums on my regular schedule... hehe... nights, right Mighty? ;)

Anyways... just wanted to let you know... please wish me luck that everything goes even better than it has been! I will post some pics next week for you to see.

Just remember, soon it will be over and you'll have an entire year to work on the next one. :) That means plenty of time to socialize around here again... BTW, Mighty won't be spending many late nights around here with you for a while, I don't think :(... It's a good thing but it's her deal so I'm not going to ruin it by spilling the beans before she has a chance to tell :zipit: :D

It really is one big soap opera!;)

:) :) Thank you guys and girls!! I wasnñt expecting so many replies!

It´s almost 1:00am, I came back home at midnight after a very loooong day that started at 7:00am. It was the thoughest day because it is the day when the exhibitors set and decorate their booths. It all went smoothly... I was sooo happy! My people were incredibly hepful and really "wore the t-shirt"! The expo looks great. Most of the companies set their booths very well and very creative. The sponsors were very happy too. We opened at 7:30 and had the inauguration at 8:30pm....we had around 5,000 people inside the Convention Center!! Wow!! (last year we had 86,000 visitors in three days so I am sure we will pass that number by a lot!) Three radio stations were transmitting from there and one TV station transmitted live the cutting of the ribbon.

I am extremely tired but haven´t finished yet... we have conferences tommorrow morning and I need to finish the details of those, so I am still working.... :snore:

Just wanted to give you a little update... thanks for listenning... ;) :p

Thank you! It was a total success today.... we had 20,000 visitors! It was packed and for a Friday, it was an awesome number! I am scared of the crowds for Saturday and Sunday! ;)
