Wipeout

Wipeout would be a lot of fun at the sports complex! Years ago they had the NFL experience there - participants were required to sign a release waiver before they entered.

I actually caught the American version of Wipeout earlier today and was surprised how seriously it takes itself. Very different to the tongue in cheek approach on the British version.

Now if Takeshi's Castle was proposed i'd be up for that. Craig Charles would have to narrate!

I've always viewed wipeout as if Takeshi's Castle had been revamped by Health and Safety nuts.

Didn't think about that! Wipeout would be a big draw at the sports complex.

I do think that WWOS needs some actual attractions. Make it more of something that guest plan in their vacations.

I love the idea. They do a version of Fear Factor at Universal Studios that has been running for years. The audience is always packed in there too! How about a WipeOut show at Hollywood Studios with audience participation. Run the show twice a day and call it a winner! I am already laughing! As Doctor Phil should say: "That dog WILL hunt and bring back the goods!"

Well, three years on and I'm afraid the idea hasn't really gained any traction....

I think that inflicting major injuries on tourists is not a good idea. I mean, all the Yeti did was take a swipe at a passing train, and look what happened to him.

I haven't heard of this show, but will look for it. I've always wanted to do one of those obstacle course deals and wish someone would open one!! I think it would be great fun!

(Fear Factor, on the other hand...)

Too much liability for just anyone....However they could use Hollywood studios as a site to actually film this show and have park guests watch and cheer

I already participate in multiple events around the country each year; Tough Mudder, Mudathlon, Rugged Maniac, Warrior Dash and Mudstache. I'd signup for Wipeout in a heartbeat, especially if it was at WDW.
