i remember the cars heading towards each other only once at the end of the ride, but i could be wrong
The cars went towards each other at dispatch and then turned away into the building. The only other time you met up with the other track was during the city scene where you and others vehicles went around the room together. The city scene is now the home of the heffalumps and woozzles scene.

I find it hard to even write a few choice words in response to that comment(due to the language filter), so I'll simply say this: DON'T EVEN GO THERE :fork:

when i rode pooh last oct 1st I looked at the floor and if you look at the floor you will see the wheel marks from mr Toads wild ride and the tracks not new its the same i believe from what i can best remember the only difference i saw between pooh and toad was the cars had a new fiberglass shell and the cars are reversed from the direction that toad ran. But im 100% sure the tracks in the same place due to the way the wheel marks on the floor were.

If it were the same cars from Mr. Toad, then how would they be able to sell the cars off on auction etc...And wouldnt they have to be completely different anyways because of the different components inside that are used for bouncing etc....

Well I can't answer your second question (I am not convinced the cars are the same anyway). However Pooh should you half as many cars as Toad because it is in theory only one ride instead of two as toad was.

OK. the track is new, and the track is not in the same layout as Toad. Those are not wheel marks for Mr Toad, but rather they are the wheel marks from Pooh. It looks like you see two seperate wheel marks but that is because you have the front and back wheels which do not travel in the exact same place.

According to all the concept art and everything about the ride backstage in Fantasyland, the car frames are the same. This is the reason why some of the cars squeek horribly, regardless of how many times maintenance tries to fix it. I'm just going by what I've seen personanlly many times. I could be wrong, but I really think I'm right!

You most likely are correct. I don't really know one way or another.

It's too tough to tell just by looking. Any acutal Imaginaneer reading this that can verify through more official channels?

Okay, to back up my claim about the track being the EXACT same as Toad. I just talked to a buddy of mine who operates Pooh, he said that he was told during training, that it uses the exact same left track as Toad did. According to him that fact is even listed in the operating guide for the attraction. However, the honey pots travel in the reverse direction and Pooh loads where the first scene of Toad was.

From MY personal experience working Fantasyland Merchandise, the other half of Toad became Pooh's Thotful shop and stockroom, and honey pot maintenance.

Also a side note about Toad, the two tracks were mirror images, however the secnery was different in both, except in a few places (both tracks had the train and hell for sure). As soon as I find a listing of the scenes for both rides, I'll post it.

EDIT: Here's the scene listings, in order:

Track A: Toad Hall, Trophy Room, Kitchen, Gypsy Camp, One Way Street, Town Square, Winky's Pub, Keg Room, Blackout, Rain Room, Train Tunnel, Hell

Track B: Toad Hall, Library, Blackout, Barnyard, Barn, One Way Street, Town Square, Jail, Prison, Shireland, Train Tunnel, Hell

I'm sorry, but whoever you know in attractions is not correct. It is definitely not the same track. I worked Pooh when I did my CP in Fantasyland attractions. I know I was certainly not told that. Not to mention, anyone who has ever riden both attractions could pretty much figure out that they are not the same. So whoever trained your friend was incorrect.

I'm not trying to be mean or rude. But I know for a fact that it's not true. And I don't want others to be misinformed if they care to know about this.

Thanks for the Toad layout. That definitely proves that track A from Toad and Pooh are definitely not the same track. Because if you were to enter Pooh (the supposed Hell scene from Toad track A), you would know that you curve around many times through the blustery day and owl's house scenes before bouncing with Tigger (which is the back of the building). In this layout, which I'm assuming is correct, the train, tunnel, and hell is just a straight shot through the ride.

I'm glad someone posted it, as to clear up all confusions. Thanks again!

Looking at the layout, the start of Pooh is more like the start of B side, which of course is in the wrong place. The layout is as correct as I can say, from a good source, and I sketched it from the original CM fire equipment plan.

Still looking for a Pooh plan (I`m sure there is a simple one with buttons on it on the dispatch panel at load) - you can only follow a video for so long until you get lost!
