Anyone ever see the hidden Mickey in the doors going into the chocolate making room, in Willy Wonka?
Just wondering?

I know this isn't a Disney Movie, but you can't miss those ears.

No, I've seen the movie but can't seem to remember what you're talking about. Is there any way you could post a pic? (Freeze the movie and take a picture of it....I've done it before.)
Thanks

BTW, adorable avatar.:D

Actually, we just returned the movie to the library. But the doors are visible right after the kids all sign the contract. It is the room where they are all squished together. Sorry, I can't really descibe it any better then that.

And thanks, the avatar is my 3 year old. She is actually the one who saw the hidden mickey ears.

It's unintentional. Think of how many things can look like mickey ears.

The movie itself would NEVER have had disney elements in it. It was all an advertisement for a new Nestle bar (which failed miserably while the movie lives on... funny that).

As many people know, the author hated the original movie... which is why the true, darker version is in production.

DMC-12

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.
Hmmmm odd indeed.

My sister has the DVD... I wish I had it to do a screen grab tonight... anybody else?

Actually, it COULD be more than coincidence. I believe the set designer for Willy Wonka was Harper Goff, who worked on a number of Disney attractions.

Yes, I assumed it was unintentional. I just thought it was a cool coinsidence. Thought it was even cooler that my 3 year old found it and is already programed to look for hidden mickeys. :)

No, you're right. It is extremely cute that a 3-year-old would notice it.

I can remember doing the same when I was young. Anything consisting of 3 interconnecting circles was mickey!
