For a 10 minute ride, that seems too pricy for me. What are your thought's?
Wow $100! Is that for the whole car? How many people fit? Do you get anything else?
3 people, 20 mins., no extras as far as I know.Wow $100! Is that for the whole car? How many people fit? Do you get anything else?
I thought it will be fun to watch also.Thought it was 20 minutes?
Still nope.
I do hope that people do though, because I think these will really add a lot, visually, to the whole area, with them going around the lake.
I can really see sitting out at the bar on the dock at the boathouse, enjoying a beer or two, watching them chug on by, it would be a really cool thing. I hope that it draws enough business to continue operation and not get scrapped from low usage.I thought it will be fun to watch also.
Thank you for the correct info. Got information on another sight...my apologies to all. Here are the details - http://www.wdwmagic.com/dining/the-...g-set-for-the-boathouse-at-disney-springs.htm
"You may not have heard of them before, but they are cars that can operate on both land and water. The BOATHOUSE will be offering tours of the Village Lake in an amphicar for $100. The 20 minute cruise has seating for 3 guests, plus the boat captain - guests will not be able to drive themselves."
My kids were really interested in them. As a family of 4 we couldn't all ride.

Heard of them, heck I remember them operating in the late 50's and early 60's. Hardly a new concept, but if the ride went far enough and I had three people, I might go for it. It would depend on whether I was in cheap mode (meaning normal) or generous mode (meaning drunk). Here are the details - http://www.wdwmagic.com/dining/the-...g-set-for-the-boathouse-at-disney-springs.htm

Does one of them know how to water ski?If I could drive it myself and fit my family, I would. 3 Guests means one of us will be left behind.
